More gear pictures. I just wanted to say that your dog is a service dog if it even knows one task. I know it’s hard, but try not to compare yourself to other trainers as you have different needs than other people. Their dogs may look perfect, but I can promise y’all that they’re not perfect. No one has the perfect dog, because all dogs are dogs. They’re not robots. They’re not going to act a certain way all the time. They’re not people they’re living and breathing things that make mistakes. You’re not weak if you need help from a trainer. You’re actually pretty strong because it takes a strong person to realize that they need help. 90% of the time service dog training should be accompanied by help of a professional. Also, don’t mind the elitists because if you think you need a service dog, then get one but be aware that it is not easy at all. Service dogs are expensive and expensive to train. I personally think you should exhaust all options before getting a service dog but that may not always be true. I have anxiety pretty bad and medicine doesn’t help me. Rosie has a panic attack alert that was natural and she alerts me usually 5-10 minutes before I panic. Anxiety is a bad enough reason to need a service dog but it’s not a reason for bad training. Whatever your disability, just make sure you do what’s right for you and your dog. :) If any of you need me, I’m always a message away.
