I would be lying if I said my legs weren’t shaking. As I walked to the end of the platform I questioned if I would be brave enough to jump or if my knees would buckle and I would need someone to actually push me
The idea to bungee jump came from my sister, and when we asked my brother he didn’t even hesitate to say yes, so naturally I agreed as well
My nerves were getting the best of me, my hands were sweaty and my heart beating fast. The guys at Whistler Bungee made the entire experience fun. We joked around as they geared me up, making fun of each other for my amusement. They gave me reassurance that I could do this, I mean I could right?
Moments before the jump I could feel my knees shake uncontrollably, I took a big breath and as he counted me down I knew I needed to just leap forward. He told me to keep my hands out and if I needed to grab the huge tube connected to my rope, I could.. but I didn’t! .
5,4,3,2,1.. Jump- without any hesitation I leaped forward. The feeling was unreal, it felt like I was dropping on a rollercoaster but the only thing is you’re free falling and you’re not seated. You have no ideas what to do with your legs and for me I moved them as if I was running. The only thoughts I had was “Wtf, I can’t believe it”
Once you hit a certain fall the rope pulls you up and your second drop gives you a moment to really appreciate your jump. Once I collected my thoughts I couldn’t help but laugh and repeat to myself “omg omg omg.”
The entire experience was amazing and scary but totally worth it! My only word of advice is to not think twice and just go for that jump, the moment you second guess yourself is the moment your body will stop you from jumping. Breath, leap, jump and enjoy the fall you brave soul!

Storytime: I grew up in a run of the mill blue collar neighborhood, a hometown right in the booming northwest Indiana, where running through fields is an ideal day of fun. Most of the town was cookie cutter families: dads worked laborious jobs in the mill and on the pipeline, moms were sometimes stay at homes or worked another trade. Our parents all worked hard to give us a beautiful life that were grateful for, but somehow the prospect of living an even better than this life, and making better out of what we were given, was seemingly non existent. Back in my mediocre high school, thinking of going to university out of state was kind of a high stakes decision, especially since 80% of us would be first gen. I was thought of even crazier for wanting to go to medical school, but that was okay by me since I had gone most of my life as “unconventional” anyway. Think small minded farmtown then imagine some bright red headed vegan girl, who’s not afraid to speak her mind, and has hella ambition- oh and wears heels like “who does she think she is?”... Yeah that’s the girl who’s sitting alone at lunch for a year and a half. Deep inside I beat myself up for not being able to want the same things, I was still motivated and driven about my dreams, but obviously it’s only human to seek validation from the people around us. Thankfully I had just enough mentors who saw the light at the end of the tunnel even when I couldn’t and I was able to quickly gather myself again. I feel like at this point it doesn’t really seem like I’m going anywhere with this so I’m just going to cut to the chase, after many epiphanies and along my self improvement journey I realize it’s not my job to convince anybody that what I am doing is meaningful and has purpose. I know that what I’m doing is realistic, (for me), and I have a clear vision of what I want my life to look like, my goals, motivations, and everything in between. Nobody is living with the consequences of my choices other than me. So I’m not going to live up to anybodies definition of success other than my own, and so should you. ❤️✌🏼

Sundays are made for masking and meal prep... or whatever else you do to prepare for the week ahead. The great thing about masksing in the comfort of your home is that you can multitask or you can sit back and relax. No need to make an appointment, get dressed or leave the house.
We have created a system that brings the spa to your couch or kitchen, whichever works for you. The important part is that you make skin care and self care a regular part of your routine.
It doesnt have to be complicated but you do have to be concistent. Just like with anything else in life, pratcice makes perfect.
What do you like to do while you mask, do you prefer to sip a cup of tea or finish the laundry?

We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort. The most important thing about having goals is having one.
Your personal life, your professional life, and your creative life are all intertwined. I went through a few very difficult years where I felt like devastated. But it was actually really important for me to go through that. Struggle, for me, is the most inspirational thing in the world at the end of the day - as long as you treat it that way.
My life has been a gift up to this point, and I've been blessed beyond my wildest imagination. And wherever this ride takes me is where I'm going.
A childhood dream came true. It's a story of long waiting! I did it!
Most awaited day, cleared MBBS Final Professional Year.

Happy Sunday! Another weekend in another major U.S. city. Nashville Broadway feels like the Vegas of the South. So many restaurants and live country music bars(honky tonk)decorated with flashy neon lights. This is such a fun city for adults. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I’m just steps away from all the action of Broadway. Trying to get a shot without a sea of people was no easy task. 🤣 #bostonblogger#travelinstyle#ootdbloggers
