Last night, violence again hit new levels as protesters threw petrol bombs and bricks, while the police fired a warning shot – their live round since the protests started – and deployed a water cannon truck, a first for Hong Kong. Countless rounds of tear gas were fired earlier in the day.
A 12-year-old was among the 29 arrested over the weekend. The police called the protesters “rioters” and “radical”, and said they used “the minimum force necessary.” Shot for @vicenews.
