Ever approach #brunette clients who are concerned with changes to their dark base? @knotjustbalayage's advice: "Often I get brunettes looking for change with color, but don’t want to overdo it and feel or become to bright. In most cases, I find too much at once can totally panic a brunette who is not used to seeing lighter pieces through their darker canvas. My suggestion: LESS IS MORE! Let their eye slowly get used to seeing brighter tones. 9 times out of 10 my guest are totally fine and happy with that approach and would rather do that and build onto it in future sessions."
For this look, she created #lowlights with Shades EQ Gloss 04N Chicory, then did an all over glaze of 07NB Chestnut + 09NB Irish Créme.

Thaaaaaaaats weekend hair. A full refresh with teasylights + lowlights + mini melt. I’m loving that it’s lowlight season 🙌🏼. Bringing life back to all the hairs that were sun beaten makes me so happy haha.
Girlfriends got a new do 💁🏼♀️
The things we find when we are moving through hair. I wasn’t going to lowlight at first but I’m glad I did. I used redken Shades 6n+6na to help balance out the harsh areas. I did a mix of babylights and teasylights where needed. Melted her and voila!
