What makes you thrive outside of work enables you to thrive inside of work. Just as we have one health; we are one person. Freedom to be human is a fundamental principle in empowering people, deeply, with integrity; and with impact.
The real question being answered here, “what is the meaning of life”? Does it have any purpose or impact at the relevant level?” .
First the good news:
Life is meaningful for a large number of people when seen from a limited perspective. It could be yourself or your family’s point of view. A lot of us make a positive impact on ourselves and our families. You could attain a meaningful life at individual level if you are able to achieve your goals or have a net positive impact on society or your family. Your family might think the same for you. You have now led a meaningful life. .
Now the bad news:
Flamboyance and Eloquence are often just outer skin of a message. It is truly a robust message if the meaning is conveyed, facts are not lost in emotion or wordiness, and the essence is remembered.
Effective communicators not only relay information with clarity and structure but they also ensure their message is received exactly in the manner as intended. Think on your Feet(R) plans replicate an inbox in the mind of receiver that mirrors the outbox in mind of the communicator. TF(R) framework helps parse out information in such a way that message is received one idea at a time in a structured flow, right-sized to avoid information overload.

• OF THINGS THAT MATTER MOST• “There is a beauty and clarity that comes from simplicity that we sometimes do not appreciate in our thirst for intricate solutions... May I suggest that you reduce the rush and take a little extra time to get to know yourself better. Walk in nature, watch a sunrise, enjoy God’s creations, ponder the truths of the restored gospel, and find out what they mean for you personally. Learn to see yourself as Heavenly Father sees you—as His precious daughter or son with divine potential.”
~Dieter F. Uchtdorf
In the Year and a half that Bryan and I have been together, we have been on 10 different trips and lived in 3 different states! Life can be fast and busy, and on top of that, our own problems and doubts and questions can come rushing in on us too. I find so much joy in the little things. I relish the small moments where I see beautiful things made by God that feel like they were made just for me to see and soak in. I cherish every moment where I laugh with loved ones and see pure joy radiating from their faces. We would do well to slow down, because these moments are what our living is all about.
Credit to from @drlaurenfogelmersy (@get_regrann) - The Five Stages of Relationships was developed by Dr. Susan Campbell. She wrote about it in her book, The Couples Journey.
1️⃣ The Romance Stage is marked by infatuation and can last up to 2 years. This is the stage of relationships that we often see portrayed in Hollywood. The lusty, can’t-live-without-you, head-over-heels kind of love. Our partner appears to be perfect and conflict is rare.
2️⃣ The Power Struggle Stage is when the illusion of perfection ends. We start to realize our partner’s flaws. We focus on our partner’s differences and try to make them more like the image we had of them during the romance phase. This phase can last months or even years. At this stage, couples either break up or learn how to manage conflict.
3️⃣ The Stability Stage is when we give up trying to resolve our perpetual relationship conflicts or changing our partner. Instead, we develop respect for their differences and accept them as they are.
4️⃣ The Commitment Stage is when we consciously choose to be in the relationship, despite its shortcomings. We find a balance between maintaining a connection with our partner and working toward our own personal goals.
5️⃣ The Co-Creation or Bliss Stage involves the couple giving back to the world. This can include raising a child together, volunteer work, or other community involvement.
For more about this, I found a great website that explains these stages in more detail. Check out www.loveatfirstfight.com/relationship-advice/relationship-stages
What do you think of this model?
It’s not hard work that exhausts us most, it’s meaningless work that exhausts us most. #alexanderdenheijer

Why do the fragile wish that they were not
because we live on an earth
that favours those who are strong
but I want to go against
what is expected of us
and tell you to embrace your soft
this world needs people like you
who can catch a raindrop
and help flowers to bloom
you might be surprised
to find that those who are strong
are soft hearts in disguise
that have just worked out
how to belong
I’m not telling you
to go do the same
just to embrace the pain
because without the hurt
there would be no art
and without the fragile
there would be no earth
your soft heart
is a blessing
not a curse.

Her heart bloomed sunflowers plate. I wrote a little bit about this quote and will post it in my story. I wrote it to inspire myself to always look for the light and I hope these plates also inspire you to do the same. 🌻🌻 .
