Dear fellow POF/early menopause warriors, HELP! So, I recently changed jobs which means I might have to be without insurance for a short time. I do plan to call and see if they’ll just switch me without a waiting period, because it’s the same company, just a different account. Butttt I moved from union to non union. I was prepared for this mentally, my body however..may not be in agreement. Any advice or suggestions for how to combat symptoms? 🌸Consider this analogy. Imagine a sun baked garden. You can easily buy a flat of flowers and plant them. Your garden will look better, but not that much and not for long. Now imagine that you removed the weeds, dug up and turned the soil, watered it generously, added fertilizer and mulch and then planted the best flowers from a top notch nursery. Is there any question as to which garden will do better?
The same goes for ED. In order for a patient to get the best result from a pulse-wave therapy program, a patient should be optimized in terms of his physiology (that is the garden should be properly prepared). The patient needs to make sure he is not smoking. Work must be done to make sure his sugar metabolism is being improved (type 2 diabetes and even simple insulin resistance is the number one cause of ED). An attempt should be made to move toward an optimum weight. Sound familiar? The same treatments often prescribed to reduce the rate of heart issues are recommended to improve ED as the underlying physiological mechanisms are exactly the same. Once the physiological issues are addressed (or as is often the case, are being actively improved) then the next considerations should be optimizing testosterone and maximizing nitric oxide levels. Optimum testosterone levels have been clearly shown in many medical literature articles to improve erectile function. And restoration of nitric oxide improves vascular function throughout the body, but also specifically in the lining of the erectile tissues thereby substantially improving the quality and the ease of erections. It is when those physiological improvements are made or are in the process of being made can pulse-wave therapy deliver the best result.

When I first attempted this I thought I couldn’t lift the bar any more than an inch off the ground.
I was told to get smaller weights at the other end of the gym and put them on the Bar.
I did this and managed to lift ... what I didn’t realise was it was the exact same weight but stacked differently ... so you see my Coach tricked my mind into thinking I was lifting lighter.
That’s just how strong the mind is and the body does what we tell it to do.
I have such admiration and respect for strong women, their stories and the fact that we are all connected.

2019 has been a such an exciting year so far, full of challenges and breakthroughs.
Upon reflection of the last 6 months, I made two huge realisations:
1. I have found my mission in life: empowering women over 40 to have a phenomenal midlife, without the struggle with weight loss and perimenopause/menopause.
We often think we are too young for the menopause, but when unusual symptoms appear all of a sudden and you are over 35, this is most likely to be the perimenopause - and symptoms usually get much stronger between the age 45-55.
Perimenopause simply means that your body has started the process of producing less oestrogen, and you are on your way to menopause. The woman’s body then adapts by producing all kind of symptoms. With a good lifestyle including diet, you can minimise most of them.
The good news is 75% of women will sail through menopause. The bad news: it will be hell for the remaining 25%. I can help design a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan specific to your symptoms and needs, and accompany you with coaching, so that you can regain vibrant health and thrive in the second half of your life.
2. My posts and stories up to now have not been aligned with my mission. It was nice to share about foods, recipes, what I get up to, or even my family life - but I am now eager to focus on my mission and give value related to it.

Ugh! YOU GUYS!!!!!! It is so hard for me to let go of my clothes..... anyone else? Seriously though, I was going through a "get rid of" bag of my daughters and uploading the pieces to a sale site, and I ended up retrieving pieces I had already passed to her and she had rejected....including this great flowy skirt. And then, well, you know i had to grab one of the men's t's she had turned into a crop. Just love the combo--It just matched so perfectly!!! Do you mix old Tees with feminine pieces?

One of my favorite ways to beat the heat during the summer is to make my own popsicles. Making your own popsicles allows you to create flavors you love and gives you the ability to make a healthier version that isn't packed full of sugar. If you need popsicle molds, you can pick those up at Target or Amazon.
Grab a can of coconut milk or pure fruit juice and your favorite fruit, and you've got a delicious popsicle in the making. Coconut milk will make it more creamy while using fruit juice will leave it more fruity and tart. Blend your liquid and fruit together, fill your popsicle molds and let them freeze overnight.

Talking about it is a really hard one, you basically have bad days when your hormones are off, it makes you feel unconfident anyway, no matter what you do, no matter what you think. Also, when you are tired, due probably of lack of sleep, this plays with head emotions and confidence, but you have to remember that all this too shall pass, it is just a matter of having a good day or a bad day. It is perfectly normal, even if you don’t feel sexy we all had this, it is all changeable, It is all about breathing, being kind to yourself, treat yourself, so if you want to lie on a sofa all day, just do it, if that makes you feel better. This I think is the key to feeling confident. today so please make sure at least you put your best lipstick on!! Have you got a great tip you want to share with the group? 💋

Als meine Schwester das Päckchen auspackte war sie auch total begeistert und hat sich sehr darüber gefreut.
