The cafe that copes with the whole catastrophe! My kids and my canine combined with good coffee. This photo taken just mere moments before the dog jumped up on the table knocking over its entire contents 🤦♀️.
I’m sure Banjo has been put on this earth to teach me many lessons. Like he is some sort of rebel angel in a furry disguise. I’m onto you 👀.
Does anyone know an outstanding dog whisperer/trainer???
Happy Sunday @miss.colombia.cafe 🙏🏼 #middlepark
What does a cronut have in common with public space? You can buy one from #southmelbournemarket then come and have your say on the future of public spaces in the #cityofportphillip .
Sunday 18 August: @southmelbournemarket (on Cecil Street next to Clements Coffee Shop)
9am to 12pm
Bay Street Port Melbourne (near Coles)
2pm to 5pm
With more people living in apartments, our parks are replacing backyards and urban spaces are becoming the ‘lounge rooms’ where people meet and interact. These spaces are an intrinsic part of the City’s cultural heritage and neighbourhood identity, and therefore make an important contribution to connecting people to place. They also play a key role in responding to our changing climate, by reducing the impacts of flood and urban heat.
We need to make the most of our existing spaces and look for innovative ways to expand the public space network. This could mean using our streets differently, improving how we share spaces with each other and designing for a wider range of activities.
Council is developing a new Public Space Strategy that will identify where new spaces are needed and set out a strategic approach to guide the re-design and upgrade of existing spaces, and how we allocate and program the use of spaces.
Having a clear plan in place will ensure we protect what is valued about our existing spaces and we meet the future needs of our community.
Sound meditations are powerful experiences of rest and exploration ~ we’re honored to share our space with some very gifted women who in turn bring incredible melody and vibrations to all of us! @stephj_yoga will be offering a SOUND MEDITATION next Friday, 23/8, and then again in September and November. @em_poweredbylove and @sound_interventions will be hosting YIN + SOUND 6/10, and Fiona Patterson will be teaching WORKING WITH SINGING BOWLS 9/11 🎧 Read more and register through the link in our profile, and we’ll see you ~ or shall we say *hear you* soon 😊

Deadlifting Anchored Structures, Why? 🤔
So, initially I had not planned this at all but wanted to hit my posterior chain with a good bit of resistance with what I had at my disposal and this was it 🏋🏻♂️ I didn’t have a Barbell but this allowed me to set up for deadlift positioning whilst putting emphasis on loading my hamstrings. I ramped up my Pull during this exercise to about 70-80% of max effort for a 30 sec isometric (same length) holds, more then sufficient for my posterior chain and it’s evident in my leg and booty shake at the last 10-12 seconds 😅
As mentioned it’s a way to load the hamstrings with intent and purpose as you don’t have a physical bar to add weight too so your intensity of effort is your determining factor here, gets intense 💪🏼😁
P.S I am never going to lift this anchored structure from the ground nor did I think I could, it’s anchored! It’s a way of getting the training stimulus that I needed for my posterior chain

HEART - 6 Wands
BODY - Ace Cups
MIND - 5 Pentacles
The heart can overcome so many challenges. Knowing how to appreciate the challenges as personal growth will give your heart room to grow, to expand and move forward. Don't look back, seek forward and welcome a new emotional, creative connection.
The body is in need of love. Write your body a love poem, fall in love with your body. Drink as much water as you possibly can, look in the mirror and do some positive talk, fall in love with yourself the way you would like someone to fall in love with you.
The mind is feeling on the outer from others, differing opinions aren't helping. Your body is your radar. If you're not feeling valued, or if you're not valuing yourself, then change your circle or tribe to meet your growing needs.

It has been a big 6 weeks!! At a time when Melbourne is traditionally quiet we saw the market freeing up and opportunity for our sellers. Our team doubled down, prepared our vendors and some great results followed - 223 Beaconsfield Parade setting a new suburb record for Middle Park and municipality record for Port Phillip.
Seasonality is dead. More than ever before being able to read the play and pick the perfect timing (even if that is counter intuitive!) wins the day.
Confidence returning....bring on Spring 👊
