Another sneak peek coming at you! The reveal of the HobbyTown in-store exclusives! Hot rod red Mustang and Model T are on their way. Looks like the Model T is staying structurally the same (though with brass accents in places). The Mustang, though, appears to be spring some upgraded wheels, and possibly some other updates. I really was hoping that they would fix the length of the windshield support strut on the Model T (so it doesn't make the windshield bend over), but it's not looking good for that. But then again, maybe they'll update it by the time of release.
Also, stay tuned for news about the 5 more Fords that should be hitting the coming soon page in not too long. Don't have any photos of them, but here's the list of models, as I've heard from my insider...
1910 Model T
1925 Model T Roundabout
1931 Model A
1937 Ford Pickup
Antique c.1905 large American sterling enamel brooch depicting some folks enjoying a car ride on a sunny day. Wonderful detailing on the riders’ faces and attire. The frame is designed as a wheel; you can see the tire treads going around as well as a few spokes along the upper right area. Made during the days when cars were still a novelty (and American vehicles were still right hand drive). Manufactured by Paye & Baker of N. Attleboro, MA. 2 1/8” diameter, over 30g. SOLD.
FOR SALE: **** SOLD **** Model T Bosch distributor. I used this a year ago and will allow you to eliminate your cool boxes and use a normal coil. Has a slight crack on the timing collar, but worked just fine. It’s still very tight. Also has the gear and spacer to put on the timer. $55 plus shipping. #bosch#modelt#northpalmspeedandcollectible#distributor@partswapper

My arm is still all f-ed up but some friends came over tonight to help me rearrange the the shop and get the Free-T on the lift so I can finish assembling the car. We decided to push it outside first so I could see it for the first time mostly assembled and shiny. Man is this thing bitchin’! Side pipes go on next. #irontrapgarage#fordfreet#flathead#traditionalhotrod#earlyford#modelt
