Tough day of chasing yesterday but patience prevailed. While it’s not my strong suit I managed to stick it out and grab a few bolts off a very stingy storm.
Mother Nature was not being kind or generous with the lightning strikes. We had good position for an outflow intersection that should have kicked up a nice thunderstorm. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough juice in the air to get it going. Ugh. Towards the end of the night our storm finally managed to drop a handful of bolts out front of the rain. Hallelujah!
The monsoon is off to a slooow start and hopefully picks up a little towards the end of the week. Until then I have to enjoy the few shots I got.

Last 3 days have been amazing. I always prefer walking instead of jeep/car rides in the mountain to experience mountain trial to the fullest but since this is a family trip which is more or less like a tour I went for the latter. But to my surprise I enjoyed it as same as how I enjoy exploring places by foot. The climate, the food, the people, the trial and what not 😍
I'm already homesick coming back to home. Isn't it strange to be in home and being homesick for the road trial at the same time? Have you ever felt like this?
