If you think we only went to Hasankeyf to see history and make friends, you are wrong! Our new friends showed us this very awesome road, while everyone in the summertime showing of on the Stelvio pass or the mountain roads from Romania we just found this one. Ok, ok it's not so long but pretty cool as I say myself 😂😂😂 tomorrow our host in Elazığ will take us to the Taş yol, this is a old road in the middle of Turkey next to a river and with a lot of tunnels. We keep exploring, life is beautiful 😁😁
‘Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go’
We get a lot of questions about money💰do we have masses of savings, or companies which pay us to travel.. neither are correct (unfortunately!).
. @rideunlimited.co.uk and I work as freelance digital marketers. We had hardly any savings when leaving on our trip but worked everyday on our laptops once setting off - before and after we’d done our riding hours, to earn a wage each month.
The day our travelling started was also the first day we went fully freelance, before that we both had normal office jobs. So to be honest, the risks were pretty high! It could have all gone wrong and we’d of been back home within a few weeks penniless 😳 .
We wanted to completely change the direction of our lives. To work for ourselves doing something we loved and could do anywhere in the world, live in different countries, experience new cultures and never stop exploring.
I feel extremely lucky and grateful that things have worked out so well after taking such a leap of faith. I really believe if you don't risk big, you can't win big. Whatever that means to you, money, travelling, career.. go for it 🙌🏼⚡️
Hello, everyone on another beautiful day exploring Turkey 😁😁 this was our last shot in Hasankeyf, the people used to live here in caves till about 1980 after that they moved to houses like we know nowadays expect 1 person who never left his cave and is still living there. We said bye bye a few days ago already to the people in Hasankeyf, from there we went to Diyarbakır and now we made it up to Elazığ. All of this are completely different places 😁😁
