That’s the question we will be asking tomorrow as we remember our good friend and member Juan Echeverria.
Juan battled Leukemia like a champion and warrior until it took his life on July 28 2016. Now we do the Juan memorial WOD in memory of him each year.
So what is YOUR Juan time?
👉 1 mile run
👉 100 wall balls
👉 100 burpees
👉 1 beer

After always telling my self “No I can’t do it, No I’m scared, No idk how” I finally did it.!! I stepped out of my comfort Zone and finally did it.!! My actual very 1st desert table. Meet Kourie, long time Regulus AM crew member. Kourie, her husband Eric, and their daughter Rory are regulars around here, and she is also a regular on the PR board lately. Last week when we completed our “test out” phase of our last training cycle, Kourie set personal records on her front squat, 2,000m row, deadlift, and our own benchmark called the “Death Ride” which is a 10 minute max calorie bike. She has found the magic trick of how to progress in the gym -- show up, work hard, and repeat. Thank you Kourie for your effort and presence in the gym!

Have you ever stopped and think... You only get to live your life once and BoOoM that's it!! It's sad but true man, I wish I can live forever but it doesn't quite work like that unfortunately.
This is your life so do what you love, and do it often. If you don't like something change it. If you dont like your job quit. If you say you don't have enough time to do anything stop watching TV, stop wasting time. If you're looking for the love of your life stop. When you start doing things you love you will be happier your attitude will change you'll start to feel good about yourself and you start to realize so much. Stop over analyzing, life is simple but just some of us make it complicated. Open your mind, arms and heart to new things. Travel often, getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once, seize them. Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them. Life is short, we have one opportunity to be who want to be/become. Every 8-9 weeks we start a new training block. We “test in” to measure different baselines, work on ways to improve those results over an 8 week period, then test again and see the outcomes. It’s different than “1 rep max of” all the normal stuff. This block we focused on aerobic capacity, so we will be testing out with a 2k row, 10 minute max calorie assault bike, and a 5k run. 🚣♂️🚴♀️🏃♂️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sounds intimidating, right? Wrong. Every person is able to complete these tasks at a scale that is appropriate for where they are at. During this block we have seen some incredible things, and your coaches can’t wait to see what you do in this final week!
We love our members. Their passion for improvement drives us to not just “coach” but support, encourage, and motivate to always be improving. Member Coty Munson, founding club member of the Spanish Springs location, had this to say; “Since joining Regulus I’ve overcome alcoholism, I’ve lost 20 pounds, and my wife is working out with me too.
