I never been very athletic and I still struggle with technique when it comes to weight lifting.. Uhm.. Movement.. Actually anything.
I never had talent in anything so I have no other choice than working hard.. Putting in the time and effort to get anywhere.
Very grateful to be working with @coachroamin and @coachjaredsaavedra at @athleteready

Santa Fe Indian Market Week continues with paintings from the Santa Fe Indian School:
Because of its location, the Santa Fe Indian School/The Studio had a disproportionately large number of students/artists from the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico. In fact, today the Santa Fe Indian School is run by the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico, serving 700 Native American students grades 7 to 12. However, tribes from across the United States attended The Studio at its inception and early years in the 1930’s, with large numbers of Hopi, Navajo, and Apache joined by students from the Sioux, Omaha, Cheyenne, Arapaho, Kiowa, Comanche, Sauk and Fox, Crow, Chippewa, Cherokee, Chehalis, and Klamath tribes.
This piece by Santa Clara artist Louis Cordova was painted circa 1937.

It's been tradition to pull up a tortilla and throw some garlic powder and some salt and feel the fire! 🔥 Anybody else have a tradition? Talk to me! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥"

The Rio Grande Gorge begins near the Colorado border. The 50-mile gorge runs SE through the basalt flows of the Taos Plateau volcanic field. The depth is 800 feet, just south of the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge.

This sacred land is home to one of the world's most ancient formations.
This is what's left of the throat of an ancient volcano. After millions of years of erosion, what was once buried 2,500—3,000ft (750—1,000m) below the surface now soars almost 1,600ft (488m) straight out of the earth with nothing but flat land for miles around.
This ilsenberg is a sacred Navajo mountain they call Tsé Bit'a'í, which means "winged rock." In Navajo Indian mythology, the ground became a giant bird that carried the Navajo Nation from the cold lands of the North to their current homeland in the American Southwest. When viewed from certain angles, the rock formation looks like a sitting bird with folded wings. Because it is sacred land, climbing the mountain is forbidden for outsiders.
What are your favorite photography techniques or tips to capture the beauty of NM?
I love coming across natural frames to photograph while exploring the outdoors. This shot of Spence Hot Springs in Jemez Springs was taken in the early morning hours while out on a solo adventure.
I had heard that the springs were often crowded since the trail is so short and relatively easy so I decided to make it my first stop of the day. To my delight, I arrived with not another soul around. Complete solitude and relaxation while enjoying the peaceful springs and outstanding views.
This is @wanderluster1087 doing a takeover with @travelnewmexico!
