The first exposure was of the dress she was wearing, I couldn’t not play with such an intricate and beautiful lace design... Dress is from @xalldolledx I can’t wait to finish this gallery and share the rest 😍
What exactly are you paying for when you book a portrait session?💰⁉️
That’s a really great question - one I’m going to try and answer in this post. It’s easy to overlook the value of investing into a photographer with such powerful cameras in our pockets, so here’s a peek behind the curtain of what you’re paying for:
➡️ Someone who can capture photos of you in your element.📸 Your photographer cares about you and what you like, they want your photos to represent you. The real you. You shouldn’t have to selfie all the time - you can focus on you and the photographer will take care of the rest.
➡️ Professional editing. Photo editing is a skill. It takes time to edit every little detail so the focus remains on you and not the candy wrapper on the ground behind you.
➡️ Advice.👥 Not sure what to wear? How to pose? If you should bring a certain prop? Your photographer is your partner, and they can give advice so the shoot goes amazing as possible.
➡️ A unique experience. Before the shoot, I like to prepare mentally. Think about what would be fun to try and what shots could best represent you. I love to have fun at my shoots, and sharing that is meaningful to me. Every client gets a unique experience because they are unique.
➡️ A keen eye for composition.👁 Anyone can snap a photo. A photographer will look at how the light is hitting you, what your hands are doing and if your hair or accessories develop a mind of their own. In short, I gotchu, fam.
➡️ Someone who is working very hard to make you look your best and won’t be satisfied until you do. My favourite thing is the reaction when people see their pictures. That’s what excites me. Your photographer wants you to look amazing, because like the shampoo commercial says: you’re worth it.
➡️ Memory. Finally, you’re investing in memories. This is you, in your genuine best at this point in time. Share it, flaunt it, own it.💃🕺
Thanks for reading! Why do you think paying a photographer is worth the investment?

How do you like to spend your birthday?!🥳🔥🎂 ...
🎂Today is my birthday.🎂Another year gone by. My favourite part about my birthday is actually that @ngthairdressing has her birthday the day before (so yesterday) and we get to celebrate two days in a row. Almost 11 years together and it’s always a time we look forward to. When I was younger I’d always try to have my birthday off from work, but as I am getting older each passing year it becomes just another day of the week. Natasha does a great job of keeping that birthday magic alive from when I was younger. It should be a special day, to celebrate you. She has never wavered in her support for me and my birthday is no different. She’s bae. 🤳😘
My birthday has become a great opportunity to reflect on the past year. I hope next year is as fun, diverse, and stimulating as this one. This year went by so fast. I worked hard. Started a business. Made new friends. Overcame personal adversities. Grew as a person, and most importantly, watched the final season of Game of Thrones with Tash. My life has taken me on some interesting journeys, but I still feel like I’m only getting started. I’m so grateful for the relationships I have made, thank you to all of you who supported me and continue to support me, and to everyone who’s reached out for photos, I’m only able to do what I love to do because of you. I love to have fun, and for me this year has been very, very fun.🤪👌
Thank you for reading my birthday post - here’s to another amazing year!🍕📸🔥💯🤣
Is your birthday still a special day for you?! 🥳🔥💯

Happy Friday friends! And happy world breastfeeding week🤱🏻 Let’s get one thing clear right from the jump; the old adage “breast is best” is just that, old. I loved breastfeeding my first and am currently enjoying the bittersweet moments of nursing my last but the reality is that breastfeeding is not for everyone and that’s OK! No woman should ever be told what to do with her body. No woman should ever be made to feel less than for choosing formula. Some women have NO CHOICE even if they desperately want to. Everyone’s journey is different. There are certainly alternate options for mamas who can’t produce but want their babe to have breast milk. Donors are a thing that I only just recently learned about. Babies are hard work and we should be there to support new mama’s, not judge, criticize or offer unwanted opinions. I love my hellion breastfed babies. I love my awesome formula fed nephews and god children and if I put them all in a line, would you be able to tell who got a boob and who got a bottle?! No! Because they were all nurtured, are all happy and are all loved 🥰 FED IS BEST!! .
When my friend Allie asked if I would do a Crossfit photo session with her group of friends, I immediately got SO excited. Anyone who knows me personally knows how much I love weightlifting, Crossfit and pretty much anything fitness-related. I think these photos really reflect that. Often photography is as much about the passion behind the camera as it is about what's in front of it. A huge thanks to these badass ladies for letting me marry the two things I'm super passionate about! 💜📷
What does a portrait session include? 🤔
- 30 mins to 1h of my complete and undivided attention
- An opportunity to wear your "nice clothes"
- Many many laughs
- A boost in self confidence
- A moment to create a connection with other humans (such as your boyfriend/girlfriend, your parents, your kids...)
- These moments immortalized in (edited) photos that you can download and take home as prints if you want to
Message me if you're interested in booking your session! Better yet, tag the person you would like to share laughs with in your photos 😄
Big thanks to my ever-patient partner, Charlie, for taking this lovely photo of me! 🥰
Haha I’m not going to lie, I’m super picky AND super awkward when it comes to photos of myself. A difficult combo to overcome! 🙈 So we may or may not have filled a 32GB card trying to get a photo of me when I’m not talking or looking derpy 😅😂 But in the end we got some good ones! 🙌
I remember when I first started this account..almost a year and 1/2 ago.
I cringe a bit when I look at my old photos now and I'm so happy I do because that means there was progress in my journey and that my perceptions have changed and evolved.
I started this not really knowing what I was doing, but I knew I had a strong passion for visuals, I always had it since I was a little girl.
Creating things, drawing, writing songs and singing them, I didn't have a camera 20 years ago but I loved staring at the trees, flowers, fields, mountains and capturing the images in my head. Those are the images that stayed with me all these years. ..i remember writing my first lyrics when I was probably 8 (damn I wish I still had those pieces of paper). It was (still is) my escapism from adults world and their problems. There, in my own bubble, I felt safe.
Just like I feel now when I take photos for hours, when I edit them.
