Really enjoyed this location. Super nice details for long distance sniping with a 600mm lens. What I like about this image is the calmness of the water and the strong contrast between the trees and the background. This was shot during the golden hour on a cloudless evening. Well the clouds started to form afterwards but at this very moment there were none available.

Squeezing in a quick morning hike before hitting the road - one of the best ways to start your day!

Some of you may be aware, but most of the flora we see in photos of Hawaii are not native or endemic. For me, there is an immense amount of joy when I see true native forests populated with plants like Ohia Lehua and Koa, along with immense bogs of s.palustre.
This is the highest peak in all Portugal! 🇵🇹 and also the last stop of our trip! Wherever you are on Pico, you have a constant overlook on Mount Pico, lava fields around and a beautiful landscape of UNESCO world heritage vineyard, it’s the most volcanic and the second largest azorean island! I made it to the top of Portugal (and I camped there!) and I couldn’t be happier for it, despite of the fact that I twisted my ankle because of the (really) bad weather conditions we had next morning 😅
What a stonkingly glorious weekend! ☀️A hard long weekend of exercise (the last one before my race), kids giggles and friends staying over, a mountainous evening of food, wine and chatter and a big week coming up: ☄️An exciting session with @instagram and their first meet up in New Zealand (!), 💫more exercise (standard), 🌎a new blog post (who wants to see all the luxurious places to stay in Queenstown?) and hopefully the new film ‘2040’ anyone seen it? 📽📽
Find me where rocks meet the ocean. They're always my favourite places along Coastal areas. Capes, Headlands, Bays, Cliffs, Promontories, Fjords you name them. There's always an attraction to these formations. You need to be familiar with geography to understand these Coastal landforms.
Ripping howls with echoes as clear as day in this mountain heaven. We didn’t sleep a wink that night and hiked the 4hrs to the summit for sunrise. Fair to say I was pretty cooked at the end of this hike but these views will forever be engrained in my mind - I’m pretty ok with that.
