This was one of the final few miles of our day on the Knapsack/Col alternate. As the sun continued to drop the colors only became more beautiful until eventually I just surrendered in my attempts to get it on film and just sat down to take it in while it lasted.
Happy Friday! As you are out and about this weekend, take a picture and send those pictures to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. ⛰
We will post some of our favorites! 🌲
Today's photo was taken at Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon.
And another picture of tonight's sky, I will never get bored of seeing this view!

Sound on 🔈🎶

Weddell seals typically only make these vocalisations to communicate while underwater, although on rare occasions they’ll also make these eerie sounds while hauled out on the ice.
This time we are heading to the Coast for a change of scenery 🏖
It might be a bit too cold for a cheeky swim but we are still making the most of the sunny Aussie winter weather 🙌🏼

Yes, I took this picture in the middle of the summer. Yes, my editing got a little out of control. Yes, I’m excited for fall! Also how cute is this?!? Absolutely loved taking this picture.
🔄 . Hands down the best glacier walk ever. Thanks to Mike from the states (different Mike from @michael.j.lipinski) for running up the glacier to capture this sweet perspective. Also big thanks to him for not dropping my camera in the glacier crevice 👍🏼
Everyday I go wander through my backyard multiple times with my camera looking around to see what I see and capturing the interesting stuff. Usually all you can get out there is shots of insects and animals which is fine... But after doing it so much you sometimes feel like the market is tapped and there's nothing more that you can ever find that's interesting. A shot like this though helps prove me wrong. I was standing in a garden that really isn't much of a garden this year looking to see if I could spot the praying mantis that I released into it the other day. As I turned around to leave I noticed this bee on the handle of a pitchfork that's been stuck in the ground for months. I started shooting from multiple angles and multiple compositions knowing that somewhere in there are a few good shots. This one stuck out the most.
A closer view of the main attraction of this area... so many places to scramble for unique views... I also learned about bracketing my shots on this trip 🙌

@withluke This canyon is hard to appreciate in just a photo - the wind roaring and the birds swooping right overhead created an intense atmosphere that was one of the highlights of our adventure through Iceland ⛰

Is it me or is this more than a feeling?
It’s a bud of love fueled by summer’s wondrous breath.
It’s the winter flurries beneath your feet making this a snow globe world.
It’s the dream you pray to never wake up from.
It’s a shooting star courteous enough to leave a glowing trail.
It’s the crinkle of your nose and the glow in your eye.
It is more than a feeling,

Saw this barn at sunset the other day and couldn’t help but stop and get a shot.
