Some might look at this and say.... that's not WARRIOR II
She's not looking the right way, she's not ALIGNED
Warrior II or Virabhadrasana II is a standing yoga pose that enhances STRENGTH, STABILITY, and CONCENTRATION. It's named after the Hindu mythological warrior, Virabhadra, an incarnation of the God Shiva.
More than just a physical posture, Warrior II increases your ability to concentrate. As you hone your GAZE , you direct your mind clearly and with INTENTION. Distractions disappear and your energy becomes powerful and focused.
I chose a soft gaze in the opposite direction..... no real reason why, I just felt drawn to look that way, is this WRONG? Some might say YESSSSSS, I on the other hand felt comfort in my WARRIOR II, I felt a peace in the strength of holding this posture. I am not your average yoga instructor, I'm going to push you to break out of your BOX, to do things that feel good in your body and allow you to see things differently. To breathe into something that might be uncomfortable, and I'm going to ask that you be PRESENT in finding YOU!
🗣 250lbs for ALMOST 5 reps!!!!
(Crapped out at lockout on the 5th 🤦♀️)
I’m so stoked about this one, especially given my best meet bench is 240lbs lol. It means even more after the trashing I took over my squat video last week from a lifter with a large following.
But it’s all gravy. Didn’t block him or the herd of his followers that descended on me with attempts to humiliate & shame me in front of everyone in our community. I want y’all to stay. .
Pull up a chair. Grab a white claw. Cause it’s fittin to get good round here. .
I’ve ALWAYS been the underdog and done more than anyone’s ever expected of me. My people don’t come from much financially or in terms of great influence, but we know how to persevere. We know how to make due with nothing. We know how to fight.
You didn’t make me and you sure as hell ain’t gonna break this ole country girl.
It’s Tuesday and I kind of feel like I’ve been running in circles like a chicken with my head cut off the last two days. It’s crazy how unpredictable and all over the place this industry can be... but I guess that’s life right? Some days will be better than others, and some WEEKS will be better than others. That’s why we persevere instead of tripping all over ourselves. #ridethewave It’s good to have people in your life who know that it’s like... glad @craigmincyrealestate is back from his fishing trip in Canada!!

Happy Monday all!
As our beautiful summer nears it’s end, fall is a perfect time for a fresh start.
A time for new routines & fresh motivation … we think it’s a perfect time to
“Be afraid and do it anyway”…
Is there anything you have wished you would have done in the past but never did?
Perhaps a new side hustle? Or how about a complete career change?
How about pushing your career forward- taking the next necessary leap to elevate your business to the next level?
One thing is for sure, if you never try you will never have the option to succeed.
Ask yourself.. What if this actually works?
As an entrepreneur and leader of a young real estate team, this concept speaks true to me when deciding to push forward the growth of the team. This year was a big one for us, with the expansion of the team, and the soon-to-be opening of our first bricks and mortar office - a much-needed upgrade from the cozy walls of the much too small home office.
As these things may seem to easily roll forward from the outside in, these decisions are terrifying, and facilitating such change is not without a ton of effort. I firmly believe that if it doesn't scare you it isn't big enough, so challenge yourself to think big.
So take the leap. Make the decision. Push forward. You never know what’s ahead unless you try. #mm

I love planners, but I suck at actually using them consistently. One of my bad habits that I’ve developed over the past several years is not taking myself or my time seriously. Also, lack of follow through. Whether it’s using a planner for better time management, business ideas, or working out and eating right. Having an accountability buddy (looking at you @bjlovesjb ) has been a huge help and kept me from quitting again, but you can never be 100% dependent on someone else. You’ve got to learn to start depending on yourself and do what you say you’re going to do. Having a healthy mindset and self-love is equally as important as working out and eating right. Here’s to the rest of 2019 and making the best of the next 4 months!!! 🥂
PS, the small planner is for finances and getting back on track! The goal is not just physical, mental, and emotional health but being financially healthy and fit as well.
Most of us hear about the overnight success who came out of nowhere and is absolutely crushing it. .
Truth is, that is the media hype version and if it truly did happen overnight, there will be more focus on sustainability than actual growth.
Anything worth having does not come easy and anything that comes easy is not worth having.
Embrace the journey. It is going to be long, it could take 10,000 reps, it could take 10 years but get comfortable. To master something, to truly get good at it, you are going to suck for a long time. .
We can do anything and we can be good at it if we are totally immersed, totally committed, absolutely certain that we are capable and willing to achieve it.
Most of my life I had lived the three feet from gold story. Always grinding putting in the effort only to stop just short of the finish line which I could not see just around the corner.
Learn to finish. Commit to finishing before you even start and persevere!! Do not negotiate your dream, your vision with anyone especially yourself.

These kids are absolutely incredible!
Yesterday we had an amazing day hiking this little lady’s first 14er with some of her incredible 9-year old friends!
They endured 60-80 mph winds that had discouraged many adults from pushing to the summit, and boy did every single one of them tell us.
We actually had decided to head back at the craziest wind tunnel I’ve ever endured (in 30 14er’s) when this little lady said “let’s try ONE.MORE.TIME.” 💥 Rocket shoes were activated and this kid and her little buddy pushed themselves harder than I’ve ever seen!
To say I’m one proud momma is putting it lightly. These kids inspired many yesterday on this peak, and I can feel this is the dawn of a new beginning rising above our fears and challenges in life! Even those that didn’t make it to the top came back resilient and changed!
Is a success in business or anything else based on a bit of luck and IQ of the person❓ Or does it come from hard work and consistent effort❓
The most recent research has shown that we overestimate the effect of more luck-based characteristics such as IQ and underestimate the importance of dedication and perseverance.
Grit is the better indicator of a person's overall success than their IQ, social environment they come from, their education or connections they have. 🤔 If you are curious to know more on what exactly GRIT is;
😀 If you'd like to read a fascinating story, and 😉 If you want to find out if you can boost it in yourself,
you'll find is all in my blog 🍁 GRIT: Do You Really Need It in Business? Three Tips to Help You 🍁

The idea of being elite once you look a certain way or get to a low body fat percentage is wrong. It took me going from one extreme to another and BACK to realise that you’re no less or more of a person depending on your body fat levels. .
With that said, if you’re at an unhealthy range transforming your body will not only reduce the risks of you dying early as everyone talks about but it’ll literally change your whole perception on life. .
You will realise that the way you act to the world starts with how you truly feel inside and how you feel about yourself. You’ll have more sympathy towards others because you’ve been in their shoes not even with excess weight but realising a negative mindset is necessary for us to appreciate what thinking and acting positively really is. ❤️ #personalevolution .
Not everyone can take the TRUTH. Sadly most the population Need to hear the truth. Always seek to enlighten those who have potential to grow and evolve into Caring, defenders of Animals and justice seekers. Those like Arab and Asian animal abusers, should just be shot as there is no amount of rehab to change a psychopaths mind.
Happy National Women Physicians Day! #nwpd Today celebrates Elizabeth Blackwell, the first female physician in the US to graduate from medical school back in 1849 & paved a path for the rest of us. .
The word I picked is HUMAN. #WomenPhysiciansAre HUMAN. Sometimes I think people forget that medical students and doctors are human. We are far from perfect, go through struggles and work our tails off to be where we are. It may look like “everything comes so easy” or “life is perfect”, but trust me when I say that we go through things just like everyone else. .
I was 8 years old when I decided I wanted to be a doctor. I became fascinated with medicine after doctors performed 5-way bypass surgery on my dad. How cool! Humans saved my dad’s life & I was in awe. I told everyone growing up who asked, “I’m going to be a doctor.” I got the “you’ll change your mind”, “that’s really hard I dunno about that”. I had a guy in undergrad tell me, “but you’re a girl” & an ex while I was in med school tell me “You’ll never be smart enough to be a doctor.” Oh yeah? I beg to differ. .
My human moment happened during medical school, which I haven’t really talked much about, when I became involved in an abusive relationship. I became completely beat down & in the end really didn’t even know who I was anymore. I had to step away from my dream for quite some time to take care of myself. I moved across the country, went through therapy & counseling and was in court for months on end. I wasn’t even sure I’d finish my dream of being a physician. Taking boards during med school is difficult, but taking boards after stepping away from medicine for quite some time... that’s suicide. .
I’m so thankful to be able to participate in celebrating today. I had some pretty incredible women cheering me on that never once doubted my ability to make a comeback. We may not talk all the time, but when we do it’s like we’ve never skipped a beat. .

2. Dr. Lauren Stipp, MD (@lolajeanmd)
3. Dr. Tamara Kelly, DO (@tkkelly123) .
My journey to my MD was nothing like I imagined, but I’m HUMAN and I go through struggles just like everyone else. Something... continued ⬇️
