For me, a holiday trip is just not exploring new places and running around to see as much as I can. But, it's a period to quench my wanderlust along with relaxing my senses. It brings back the energy to stand strong and afresh for some time afterwards.
So even before we decide on the "things to do" at so and so destination, we choose the most relaxing stay. So that if my moods allows me only to sit still and chill in the room or by the pool, the vacation still remains a memorable one :) How do you like your vacation?
The room in picture is "Nice Garden Bungalow 1" Hoi àn, Vietnam - As listed in @airbnb . They have these cozy and pretty villas around pool and a garden. The property is situated country side, beyond fields with couple of nice restaurants and cooking schools nearby.
#MzeeSeries This younger mzee came to Uganda as a little boy when his family came over as refuges from Kenya, which was having tribal wars at the time. When he grew a little older, his family moved back to Kenya but he stayed in here in Uganda. It's so interesting hearing the history of people's lives.
Picture 27 of 100: This was my first time spotting snails submerged in a lakes water. The crystal clear water meant that I got the chance to use the reflection of clouds above as the natural smokey effect for the picture. I used the umbrella to let light fall only onto the subject.. the snails. The floating green in this picture helps to assure the viewer that the snails are indeed submerged. The thin borderline towards the bottom is lake water meeting land. 😊

I just want to share this story with you all .
This is a lesson for us to survive in mountains.
On Saturday afternoon ( approx 2pm). I was traveling from chandratal lake to manali. Due to heavy rainfall we were stuck into heavy landslide from both side. I spent a whole day/night(approx 24hours)in taxi without food without water. Due to continuous rain, I was not able to go outside the car. I had extra pair of jackets but all were wet.At 4am when I checked outside the car , there was Snowfall. I was scared because I didn't have proper clothes to fight with nature. At 6am I decided to trek till the point from where i can get help. I crossed the deep ridge and trekked during snowfall with 30kg backpack. After 1.5 hours I reached manali leh highway. After that I got to know that in koksar another bridge had broken and due to this all vehicles coming from leh had stopped by cops. Somehow I took help from a biker and reached manali after the struggle of 30+ hours.
Moral of the story
Be prepare for everything. Take extra caution during monsoon season. Take some backup food during travel.
Rest you will make lifetime memories with you.
