Recently, I’ve decided to switch my schedule around to workout in the morning. This allows me to prioritize exercise before I need to put out the inevitable fires the spring up throughout my day.
While I felt stronger training after 2pm, my will power tended to dwindle and I was easily distracted. I’d be thinking about work projects, social events, meetings and find myself relying heavily on caffeine to pick me up. This lead me to stay up later, have less than productive evenings (Netflix/Cannabis) and make poor nutritional decisions (dark chocolate). Inherently there is nothing wrong with any of these things, I’d even say this rest, relaxation and indulgence is necessary. Personally, it came at the price of my sleep, which cascaded into hitting the snooze button, having an exponentially more stressful day and being half as efficient as I wanted to be.
Like all lifestyle changes there’s an adjustment period. These last couple days have been rough, but there’s something very rewarding about it. Getting up early, physically pushing yourself, releasing some energy and getting a “Win” in before the day has begun is incredibly refreshing. This is just my anecdote, you maybe different, you might thrive off a later schedule and find your focus or creativity peaks in the evenings.
Let me know about your experience with schedule changes!
NEW POST! Productive Password Management
Password management can feel unproductive. However, not managing your passwords well can be devastating. Here are some tips for productive passwords. **LINK IN BIO**
Renowned project management tool Basecamp recently released Shape Up, a free book about how their small team gets things done fast and at a high level of quality.
Basecamp people don’t agile, scrum, design sprints or stick post-it notes on their walls, they don’t do daily stand ups, track individual hours or question how their days are spent, and they don’t expect people to be connected all the time on chat or email - despite the fact that their team is partly remote. They work in six-week cycles and have an entirely different approach, one that they shaped, tested and polished throughout 15 years of activity.

Are you settings the bar too low due to fear of failure?
Creating an EASIER life just in case you fail... isn’t what it’s all about
Why set a challenge ... that isn’t challenging?
It’s hard no matter what... so you might as well chase something WORTH chasing .
what is the best tip for the days when you don’t wanna do anything, or just simply lazy days?
the most practical tip for me is to set the time 25 minutes- only, for the particular task. and usually when i start with the goal for 25 minutes , I end up doing it for one or two hours! the most important thing is to start, and when you get into work, you usually just keep doing it until it’s done, so by 25 minutes we trick our brain to be more productive and get the things ✅
let me know if you try it, and how it works for you

Which highlighter colour in this picture is your favourite? 🤩
This is a repost from my old account haha because I love this picture :)
Starting my YouTube Channel has been a very big step for me.
Will people be interested in my knowledge and what I have to say? .
Will people make fun of my accent?
Will people look me down because my English is not perfect?
All these fears about people and my own image prevented me from putting myself out there sooner and share my message with people that need help
I recently understood from James wedmore that holding onto these fears is pure selfishness
I’m happy I started
It’s not perfect, it will never be, but I’m having A LOT of fun in the process

Hello friends 🙌🏽 we know that goal setting is super important in life so I want to share some of mine for these next couple months with you!
1️⃣Make being social more of a priority: These past few weeks I’ve been trying to spend more time with friends and have noticed a huge improvement in my mood and my mental health. Sometimes I go through periods where I want to isolate myself and be alone, but if I do this for too long I’m not happy! So, I want to continue being a social butterfly for the time being 😂 .
2️⃣Be more consistent with my diet: I think this is a common goal that many of you have as well lol. I’ve been slacking off a little lately which is okay but it’s time to kick things into gear again! Maybe I’ll decide I want to lean out. Maybe I won’t. We shall see lol
3️⃣Be more productive in general: I’m super scatterbrained honestly. The tricky part is learning how to manage that so I can get what I need to get done done! I’ve recently implemented using a daily agenda again like I did in college which has been helping, but at the end of the day it’s up to me to make it a priority and do things I don’t necessarily feel like doing! .
What are some of your goals?? .

Our work and todo’s expand to the amount of time that we allow for them. It’s called Parkison’s Law - look it up!
You know in college when you had that paper to write and you put it off, put it off, put it off until the night before it’s due? And BAM you knock it out?
Or when you’re having a get together at your house and in one weekend you repaint the entire house, finish the project you’ve been working on for the last year and rearrange the furniture? GUILTY! Nothing like a good party to get your booty in gear! I love party’s!
It’s amazing what you can get done when you’re on a deadline and you eliminate distraction!
Pro-Tips to get your todo’s done quickly!👇🏻
✔️ Set a timer and GO! Put your phone on airplane mode and get 👏🏻 it 👏🏻 done👏🏻!
✔️Bigger weekend project? Put it on your calendar and stick to it! Communicate with your spouse and say no to everything to doesn’t align with getting that specific thing done! It’s always the worst when you get to the weekend and your spouse had a different plan for what they wanted to do! Ryan and I always struggle with doing something fun vs. what we know we need to get done. We always communicate early in the week before it gets to that point.
✔️ STOP multi-tasking. Everyone thinks multi-tasking is a great quality- ITS NOT! It is a killer for productivity! Finish one thing before you move onto the next. I still struggle with this because, well, it’s hard not to! We are all juggling so many things- and life is busy! Remember, next time you have 20 tabs open- finish one before you move onto the next task! You can thank me later!
Give me a ⏰ if these tips were helpful for thinking about your time + todo’s different!

What would you do? Well the right answer is you should treat the water because fish breathes through it, it lives in it, it is influenced by the water. Same in our lives we should take care of our surroundings as they influence us and to change our Income, our personality and everything we have to look at our surrounding. Is it toxic? Is it healthy? Is it holding us back? Your friends, your relatives, your families, your neighbours, your colleagues, your workspace, your partner, your spouse these are your surroundings. Are they stopping you to grow? Making you sick? Influencing you to just earn like an average person? Stop you from taking risks? In moderate amount it is okay but if it is seriously impacting your life then you must take the bold move now! Right now! You can't ignore them totally but you can make a distance! You can go to another city, another place for sometime where you can be productive. When you surround yourself with people who have same goals like you then due to competition, you learn. When you surround yourself with people smarter than you they really inspire you to become smarter than them! Your surrounding influences you! It is okay to become a little selfish and work for yourself! It is okay to distance yourself from your buddies to grow because they aren't going anywhere but if you stick to your unhealthy surrounding then you will become sick and never grow. #productivitytips#productivity#inspiringquotes#inspir#inspired#inspirationalquotesandsayings#instagram#motivation 💪 #surrounding#surroundyourselfwithgoodpeople#surroundings#growthmindset 🌱 #growup#growth#productive#entrepreneurmotivation#entrepreneurlife#entrepreneurquotes#entrepreneurgoals#entrepreneurs

The standard newsletter form in SquareSpace is OK, don’t get me wrong. It gets the job done. But the default option often looks like 💩 on mobile depending on your template (swipe to see what I mean) and is basic at best on desktop.
Wouldn’t you rather have something more like option #2 or #3 ? This are from two of my clients’ websites and the code modification isn’t too hard. Head to the blog to see for yourself! (Link in bio @well_wonderful)
“It’s been a shit summer.” That’s what everyone has said. Even me. Mainly cuz shit is like, my favorite word in the English language. It could be used in any context and still be grammatically correct. I digress.
Yes it has been a shit summer. The weather has been shit. We may have had 4 days where the sun was out longer than 20 minutes and the temperature rose above 20°. However, this shit summer allowed me to accomplish a lot of shit I otherwise never would have done because I’d be outside day drinking and tanning. .
*I purged 3 bags worth of shit from my closets to donate.
*I organized shit.
*I did shit that was out of my comfort zone
*I said shit that needed to be said
*I called people out on their bullshit
*I sent emails and texts about shit I never thought I’d hear back about but did
*I ate like shit (and as I result, I feel like shit)
*I saw lots of shit I always wanted to see
*I hung out with people and we just shot the shit
*I watched shit movies that were so bad, I made others watch them and we laughed so hard at how shitty they were.
For me, productivity IS self-care.
This is particularly for all the small biz owners out there!
I know, I know lately you probably feel as though you are being pushed in two different directions.. one is being inspired to slowwww down and stop glorifying “busy” and the other is the need to be productive, to succeed, to get shit done. Here’s the thing, as with most situations, everyone is different and finding the balance between productivity and peace varies for all.
Here’s my personal truth; for me, productivity IS selfcare. As a professional who works full time, one on one with clients in the treatment room, I HAVE to continuously find ways to be more productive on my off days. Maybe one day I will gain magical powers to telepathically return emails, phone calls, write content, (yada, yada) but until then, this shit is not going to get done while I look for excuses to procrastinate. The reality is that If I can’t be productive then that leaves me with less time to actually “waste” time. (one of my favorite things to do, haha).
If you are anything like me, adding to the list of “to-do’s” without properly managing it creates more anxiety and the desire to shut down completely. Secondly, it’s so difficult to focus on those tasks that require 100% of your creative power and focus to achieve when those other mindless simple tasks are not complete. So while I am certainly not a business coach, I wanted to share with you something (very simple) that has made a huge difference for me.
Productivity Power Hour (I can’t help but laugh at the name!)
Make a “to-do” list for your day and separate the tasks in two separate groups - one that takes 100% brain power and creativity and the other group being tasks that are a bit more busy work/mindless.
Busy Task List
-Write content for online course
-Work with designer to create logo
-Write social media posts
-Schedule month of September

My name is India and I’m a 20 year old law student from Germany. I’m currently in my 2nd semester, but I’ll be in my 3rd very soon. I started studying law directly after graduating from school. I moved to Munich for my studies, together with my boyfriend. We’ve been together for 3 years now. I’m a huge animal lover and I especially love my dog Frieda (named after Frida Kahlo). I travel a lot and my next destinations are puglia, southern france and Thailand. My parents are from Germany and New Zealand.
I have this irritating personality quirk known as perfectionism and I’ve been struggling with it for as long as I can remember. I’m very organised and conscientious, I set high standards for myself in my personal life and my career and although I like to achieve all of my goals, I also feel an immense pressure fuelled by worry of failure at all times. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I wanted to talk about my struggles with perfectionism because I’ve had a really hard time last year. I entered the world of academia naive thinking that I can handle the pressure but combined with my imposter syndrome and lack of motivation due to uncertainty of what I would like to do next broke me. I wanted to make myself a list of steps to follow to overcome perfectionism. These points will serve as reminders when work becomes overwhelming and I’m about to take a step back into the maladaptive thinking patterns. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Realise that no one is perfect
2. Embrace imperfection and mistakes
3. Get started and make a mess
4. Work with a deadline
5. Improve a tiny bit each time
6. Don’t compare yourself against others
I hope some of you can also find this list useful. I’m still working on finding the perfect balance between work and life, as well as coping with stress in academia. I have set new goals for the upcoming academic year and the rest of my masters studies, which provided me with new motivation to go after my goals! This post was one of the hardest to write because it’s very personal. So let me know if you struggle with perfectionism and how you cope with it in the comments 💕

Working on my last assignment for this semester. I’m super tired! I worked 96 hours in 8 days. I’m off today and tomorrow and then I’m back on for 10 shifts in a row. I might die. IDK 😂
