Worked on sorting books from my school library which we are turning into a reading room. I took out all the unnecessary old textbooks, books that were falling apart, and ones that had seen better days. It was something that needed to be done years ago but the job is done and we are moving forward. Time to upgrade for the better. Also there is room for new books. 🙌🏼 The excitement is real. Oh and the shelves are going to be rebuilt to better house all sizes of books and look less dark. #readingroom#oneteacherschool#summeractivities#growing#cleaning#assessing#books#organizing#teacherlife

-⠀ #Q : does anyone ever read to yourself like your the main character in the story? ⠀ #A : I do it all the time!📚
Do you prefer to read old school paper books 📚 or are you an audio person?
I much prefer a paper book but if I need to absorb a lot of information quickly, audio👂is a brilliant option!
I’m an out-and-proud bookworm and reading is one of my main hobbies. Fortunately for me, self-development is part of my job as a coach. Are you encouraged to do the same in your job? 🤔 .
What are you reading 📖 or listening to at the moment?
How’s your Sunday? ☕️ Today has been about books and bookshops, one of my favourites is the pictured @mrbsemporium in Bath. I could spend hours here and there’s always a kettle on hand to have a cup of tea too! ☕️ This weekend, I’ve had spare time as Stage School has broken up for the summer, so no weekend teaching for a while. ☕️ I’ve finished reading an arc of ‘The Boy’ by Tami Hoag, and I’m hoping to finish ‘American Dreams’ by Kenneth Bromberg for a blog tour starting next week with #randomthingstours and @flametreepress
Hey guys! This account will be used as an all-inclusive online book club. 📚 📖⠀
I'll be suggesting two books a month, you can read 1 or both, it really depends on your interests (and probably how much free time you have.. lol). ⠀
This account will be like every other traditional book club - we'll chat about themes, characters, and also meet some friends along the way. I really want to make this a fun, laid back community full of curious and kind people. 😊⠀
Feel free to DM me and introduce yourself. 🤗The first month of book club starts Aug. 1 and I'll be dropping the book titles for August sometime this week, so stay tuned!

Why is shelf decorating so hard? Haha Pinterest makes it look so easy!
I am working on a new reading room in our house and I am SO excited but have been so stuck on decor and layout...
I added some books from my grandmothers bookshelves and it's starting to come together now ❤️📚
״ #secondhandbook#bookslover#vintagebooks#booksstore#readingroom

Books in photo : scary stories to tell in the dark ♥️ ⠀
We are spending the weekend on Vancouver Island and stumbled into a random coffee shop while being out adventuring yesterday. It turned out the coffee shop had an adjacent reading room that was the biggest Free Little Library I’ve ever seen. Needless to say my heart was happy: coffee & books 💕 A poster on the wall informed us that this space was funded by the Literacy Society and should encourage everybody to read and grow little readers.

Soon this shelf will be filled with books that relate to the work in our fall exhibition “Speculative Landscapes.” Currently, we are displaying our brochures, youth guides, and published books from the last five years of work we produced. If you have any book recommendations for the fall exhibition write us a message and we'll be happy to see if we can include it on this shelf.
The close relationship shared by photography and literature is the focus of the summer issue of Camera Austria Some contributions gathered here take a literary approach, others a photographic one, yet all explore what is playing out at the interface between the two mediums and the ensuing narratives.
I had to read Wuthering Heights in high school and omg I HATED it. Like wanted to set it on fire and roast marshmallows over it, HATED IT. It wasn't until my early 20's that I read Pride and Prejudice and fell in love with classic literature.
I have read many over the years and to this day I still HATE Wuthering Heights.
For those that won't fit in my book room I pass most along to my sister or put them in storage around the house. Buying more cases isn't really an option due to space. I recently added a few books to the top of my bookshelves to create mini displays but I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it. 🤔🤨 I might change it back on the weekend.
