The air conditioner for my house has no purpose.
The cell phone in my pocket has no purpose.
The refrigerator in my kitchen has no purpose.
The car in my driveway has no purpose.
The air conditioner for my house provides my family and me a comfortable and healthy living environment.
The cell phone in my pocket allows me to communicate with loved ones, friends, and people from around the world.
The refrigerator in my kitchen keeps food fresh and prevents it from spoiling before my family and guests can enjoy meals that taste good and provide the nutrients we need.
The car in my driveway can take me to new places and adventures.
These things have purpose. Which brings me to life.
Without power, life is not lived to its full potential. Without power, life becomes nothing more than a “to-do” list. We exist day in and day out checking off things we “need” to get done.
Discover your power. What inspires you? What’s your passion? What gets you fired up? And how does that power enable you to add value to the lives of others? Do that.
Starting today... right now... take a sliver of your time and do something powerful! Do something that adds value to your life and value to the lives of others.
Then do it again tomorrow.
And the next day.
And the next day.
And the next day.
And the ....
Increasing your time, over time.
Power brings value, excitement, adventure, and fulfillment to life.
Power breeds purpose which breeds potential which breeds a life worth living.
We need your powerful life. It just might be the power for someone else’s. Don’t withhold it from us.

Everyday, I wake up, go to work, come home, do more work, spend time with my family and sleep thinking of what I have to do at work tomorrow. I've put away the books I purchased for times when I'm free to read in peace. I've put away the figurines and collectibles that I purchased to make my store for when I get the chance to take the perfect shots. I've been taking pictures and storing them in my drive again and again when my phone memory is full, hoping to sort through them and categorize them properly as memories. I've been putting on hold time with my precious ones for later when I can focus more on them and am not stressed about things. I've put away the Japanese learning kit I purchased a year and half back, hoping to qualify for JLPT easily since I already know a lot of Japanese. I've put away, even put up for sale, the mic I purchased in hope of being a cover singer for fun. I've put away all the graphic design tools and knowledge I learnt by attending classes even when I was sick, hoping to one day work for Makoto Shinkai. I've put away the dreams of being a writer, my blog's last post was about my job... I've stopped going to the voice training classes I signed up for a week before I got my job. I have a job, I work. That's all my life is now. What sort of a future am I securing?
My wicked crooked thumb and scar from the messed up surgery back in June 2017... 6 more nights and then I'll be in surgery again, hoping the new surgeon will be able to repair most/all of the damage done by the butcher (the previous surgeon who messed my thumb up more than it was before the surgery...). I'll keep you all posted... Will try to make some screenshots before surgery to share while I'm in a cast again... #Surgery#MessedUpThumb#ReasonFor DifficultyPlaying

watch your children play
play with your children
eat the cookies
drink the eggnog
laugh with your friends
turn the music up
turn the TV off
sing carols out of tune
share the roast beast
call your family
love and beautiful Christmas wishes for you and your families! - lyndsay
