I am one of those people who doesn’t like medicine 😂 So when Pak @jokowi our President shared his secret recipes that he has consumed for more than 19 years every single day, I am kinda keen to try with a little modification.

No harm in spoiling your manicure for that one 😁😀. Mumbai style Misal ( spicy sprouts curry) usually eaten with pav ( bread) but I have taken the liberty to switch the pav with oats rotis ( cuse we have zero liberty to get back to mindless eating😑) . Did a little reasearch and found that the original kholapuri version is quite spicy to handel and is usually topped with spicy sev . While the misal from Pune is topped with the dry poha chivda ( puffed rice snack) . We are making this dish which is somewhere in between but definately very nutritious with the right amount of spice . 🍴🥄🔪 RECIPE :

A very popular and an age-old lip smacking Indian street food, Pav Bhaji is the go-to dish for beginners💕😊 INGREDIENTS:
Potatoes - 5
Onions - 3
Tomatoes - 3
Pav Bhaji masala - 6 to 7tsp
Chilli powder - 1tsp
Salt - to taste
Butter - 100g
Oil - 1tsp
Garlic -3 to 4 tbsp
1. In a pressure cooker, chop the potatoes into quarter and add them. with a pinch of salt and let it cook for about 3whistles.
2. Meanwhile, finely chop garlic, onions and tomatoes.
3. After the potatoes are boiled well, peel the skin off and mash the potatoes really well and keep aside.
4. In a kadai, add 75gms of butter, oil and garlic. Sauté it well until the garlic changes its color into slight brown.
5. Add onions and sauté well along with salt until it becomes translucent and then add the tomatoes and sauté well.
6. To this, add the pav bhaji masala, chili powder and cook it well until the raw smells goes away. You may add little water.
7. Once it becomes a paste, add the mashed potatoes, butter and serve hot with buttered pav buns and onions on the side.
1. As soon we add butter it tends to brown. To prevent it from browning, we add oil.
2. After the onion and tomato paste boils, we add water and bring it to a boil. Without which, it can get too tight. #pavbaji#snack#indian#indianfood#streetfoodindia#Fboi#indianfoodbloggers#fromscratch#IFNF#yummyfood#Foodie#Food#Foodporn#Yummy#Homemade#recipe#Recipeoftheday#theuncommonbox#canon#foodphotography#feedfeed#foodstyling#instafood#delicious#eeeeeats#homecooked#nomnom#mycanonstory#yummy#snack

Most of our breakfasts this trip have been buffets - great in theory but meant rather large breakfasts!
We did however have a few places we made our own. Oats are always an easy, healthy and cheap breakfast option. So porridge it was for me.
Mixed with @foursigmatic mushroom blend and topped with a banana, passionfruit and a sprinkle of museli.
It was the perfect way to start the day!
