🙌 Bomber. Your hands best friend
So much fun to be flying again ☺️
It seems that everything else has got in the way of climbing over the last 8 months or so. Needless to say however that I don’t regret it at all, it’s been one of the best periods of my life so far and I’ve so much to be thankful for 👌🏼Coming back to more regular training now after so long makes me feel great and I can’t wait to build up my strength again 💪🏼
Matterhorn 4478m summits! 🏔❄️⛏🇨🇭 Congratulations to our teams this week for all reaching the summit. Here’s photos of Jon & Pau yesterday. Join us...
I feel like my feed is now the climbing equivalent of watching match of the day highlights on iPlayer days after the game has finished where you already know the score for a team that you really don’t care about.
Bet you’re wondering what my ninja bandana says aren’t you? It says Kamikaze which means Divine Wind. Rather fitting for being on top of a mountain don’t you think?
Bet you’re wondering why I’m wearing a ninja bandana? Well, how many ninjas do you know that have climbed a mountain?... How many ninjas do you even know?....
Good day mountain climbing (in every sense of the word! 🧗🏻♂️)
HVAC units delivered!!! We care about the air, your health and your overall experience in the facility. You’ll have a nice consistent temperature with awesome clean air and great air flow. The filter system is integrated in the ducts, so we’re hoping to deliver air with minimal chalk particles.
We planned (and in the end succeeded) to get two days of climbing in. Both my uncle and I were checking the weather weeks in advance all the way up to the day of. Somehow it just so happened that the only two days of rain in washington state’s forecast happened exactly on the days we were climbing. On Saturday there was an afternoon shower that we waited out under a tree. It left this sprinkling of rain on my aunt’s truck. We climbed a couple hours more, until the sky became a much deeper grey.
First week of college is done! I’ve reconnected with some old friends and made a couple new friends in my dorm and in my classes. My roommate is incredibly friendly, and he plays snare in the redcoat marching band.

What’ s up guys! 😎
After a one week break spending some days with our families here we are on our way to Frankenjura again! 🚐
This time we’ ve decided to stop for a quick visit to Altmühltal (südlicher Frankenjura), a really classic climbing area one hundred kilometres south of Nuremberg! 🌲🌲 Here at Schelleneckkopf crag in 1983 Jerry Moffat made the first ascent of The Face 👽 , considered the first 8a+ ever. (Link video in Bio)
At that time the ethic was quiete different: clipstick of course didn’ t exist and resting/toproping were not allowed at all! Working on a project was so quite different process compared to nowadays😓: If you fell, you had to get down immediately, to take off rope and to start by the floor on your next try 😱. To be honest I can’t remember the right name of this style, I read about it somewhere long time ago, some of you guys know? 🤔
Woah, watch those hands there, pal. We ain’t married yet! 😉
💜💙💚 Tomorrow 💚💙💜

Not gonna lie...I was a little nervous when @twerkinthedirt asked me to bring my gear, no makeup and dirty hair to the forest to take photos. I’m so used to hiding my body, to making myself unseen. I used to scour over every photo making sure my arms didn’t look fat. I used to hate photos of me in my harness because of my muffin top or that little roll my sports bra makes. I used to hate my body.
Climbing taught me how strong I am. I don’t care that I don’t have make up on or my hair hasn’t been washed in days. I don’t care that the rope makes my hands black or that I’ve got rolls on rolls when I have my harness tight. My body takes me to some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen....to mountain tops and rock faces.
When I saw this photo...I didn’t think any negative thoughts that I would have a few years ago. It actually made me tear up because I felt like my inner strength was visible on the outside for the first time in my life. ❤️
