During my afternoon at Mary's Living and Giving I set up a rail of'alternative brights', which are apparently some of the key colours for Autumn/Winter 2919.
Whilst I don't advocate slavishly following trends, I quite like seeing how I can dip into them using pre-loved clothes or those I already have in my own wardrobe.
Fall in love; with our newly arrived, back-to-school styles!

I know you don’t want to hear it but...we’re nearing the end of summer!! 😱 I’m getting my head around it too, and thinking about what purchases I need to make for the kids this fall! 👟🥾👢 .
It’s a good time to start thinking about your own fall wardrobe too, which usually has a lot more pieces in it than spring and summer. It’s just a more complicated season! .
I’m currently taking new Style Coaching clients, AND I’m excited to offer a “Seasonal Sorting” for my existing clients!
So if we worked together in the Spring or Summer, we can keep working our way through the rest of your wardrobe, with a reduced time and money investment. This has been requested by two of my clients so far, so I know we’re onto something. .
Now in the meantime...make sure to hit the beach! It’s my favorite place to be. 🏖 ☀️🥰
I can't get enough of the Yarrow this year. Its like a sea of white foam on the meadow and Im busy gathering bunches to dry ready for September wreath workshops. It's lovely and subtle when it dries and smells of Summer. If you fancy making a dried flower wreath this September follow the workshop link. (link in bio)
Just sending some flowery love out there to you all 🤗🌸
It’s not an easy time of year for so many of us is it.. treat yourselves gently, and don’t stress about all those perfect details. And eat mince pies 😘

What a joy it was to create this bespoke wreath. Finished with a luxurious red velvet ribbon, this wreath will hopefully turn heads.

Early morning sunlight in a lake cottage sunroom is such a sweet blessing, isn’t it?
We love Lisa of @asimplystylednest use of cheery yellow and soft neutrals in her cozy window lined space!
Do you have a sunny corner where you can sip your morning coffee? 💛
Wales definitely got the gold medal for daffodils this weekend - the beauties were everywhere. I was also looking forward to experiencing their other great national emblem: the leek. Instead the very traditional country house hotel we stayed in offered for lunch on their lounge menu, a tapas sharing platter, chicken wraps, smoked salmon bagel ...not at all what I’d hoped for. As they have their own hens, even a scotch egg wrapped in Welsh piggie would have been appreciated.
Happy Monday! 🌿🌸
The equinox is a couple of weeks away but I’ve already started springing up my wardrobe choices 🐰 I think this platform accelerates my desire for the next season- I’ve seen so many daffodils and pastel tones and we’re only four days into March! There’s something quite sweet about the anticipation. What do you think?
