An hour outside of Tokyo, out in the beautiful Saitama countryside, you’ll find Musashi-Kyuryo National Government Park in Shinrin Koen. 5km from the North Gate to the South Gate, 3km from the West Gate to the Easy Gate - this park is BIG! Big enough to fit 65 Tokyo Domes inside! It’s not only glorious during cherry blossom season and ablaze with color in Fall, but it has a huge variety of incredible flowers throughout the year...and you might even find some of these guys hanging around. These wooden dolls (amongst many other things) are scattered throughout the many displays and gardens to be found. So, rent out a bicycle for the day and go search them out! (Don’t forget to stop off for some soft ice cream along the way too!)🍦 ________________________________________ #nofilter#Japan#Saitama#Shinrinkoen#enjoy#beautiful#nature#travel#work#teach#esk#alt#Borderlink
I have so many sakura photos that I have not posted.
Whenever I feel down, I just cannot get myself post things... and then photos I want to share are starting to pile up. One more from snowy start of the April- sakura and snow, this time with duck family taking a cruise
More from my adventures with sakura and snow. This was the first sight I saw when I found the canal and I personally think it is one of the best photos I took. I just love the flakes you can almost see at the background and the huge sakura tree. The canal is steaming as the air is so much colder than water. What a magical moment.
