As the leader of your business, how serious are you taking employee morale and what steps are you taking to improve it?
Improving morale should be a priority as low staff morale can result in poor staff engagement and cooperation that may lessen company productivity and negatively impact turnover.
Staff morale can make or break your company’s success.
Your team members are your most important asset but at the end of the day, your employees are humans! They have goals and feelings too. If you invest time and energy into ensuring your staff are happy then you’ll assist your business by improving productivity and employee retention.
There are many ways to boost employee morale but first stop and listen to what they have to say. If you do that, you’ll soon have the entire team rowing in the same direction towards the organisation’s ultimate goal.
P.S. Whenever you’re ready... here are 2 ways we can help you build a great business

We are nearing the finish line on the house renovation phase of our “Transforming to Tudor”project. There are a few punch list items and a beam and columns to be wrapped in the kitchen. New garage doors are on their way, the Owners are still settling in and Landscapers will be performing their magic in late September. Yes, there will be a fountain! For those who haven’t followed this transformation from the beginning, we started with the garage (w/ apartment above) which used to be colonial inspired. We have truly enjoyed working with these clients and we could not be prouder of our guys and the subs who have done a fantastic job pulling it all together! By the way, the gorgeous furniture and rugs on display are collections from the Owners’ travels around the globe. It is those travels and living in distant lands while serving our country, that inspired them to take this leap. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork#ouremployeesrock#craftsmanship#tudorarchitecture#designbuild#middlepeninsula#gloucesterva#mathewsva#makingdreamscometrue#residentialrenovation#smallbusinessowner

How we did it.
How we (Kim and Julian) started an online business.
So we work hard like you and just never seemed to have enough. We started different bricks and mortar businesses, but all failed after a year, and lost money. Very painful, but we knew there was something out there we could do to add income. So after years of looking Kim saw this ad on Facebook. She followed the link and got a coaching call 2 days later. After that see told me about it and ask me what do you think. !
Well. My answer was no, because of the past experiences we had, but Kim did not give up. She got involved with the group and had a mentor that she could call anytime she needed help. After the training she got right into it. Me. Well still sceptical. So after a month went by she showed me a check. I was shocked. And have now started the training myself.
Best thing we have done.
This is an amazing group we are in and it just gets better each day.

“What I’ve learned from the amazing interviews I’ve had the privilege of doing over the past several months is that healing sometimes surprises us. It’s often different than we thought it would be. Opportunities for healing show up in our work, our relationships, and the most quiet moments with ourselves. They don’t follow a schedule and they certainly don’t happen according to plan.”
Have you tuned in to the final episode of Season 1 of the @heretohealpodcast? We will be back with Season 2 before you know it! But in the meantime, you can hear about some of my own healing experiences, what I’ve learned this season, and how grateful I am for the opportunity to interview so many amazing folks this season. 🙏

Research has found that when interpreting sarcastic comments, this requires us to think harder and pay more attention to decode its actual meaning, hence abstract thinking is useful here.⠀

É errado voltar a publicar conteúdo antigo?
Developing a plan that is based on any financial goals, while taking into account local and overseas tax regulations, current and future liabilities will help you to achieve any planning goals. For example, strategic planning is a way for your company to set priorities, strengthen operations, focus energy on the right areas of your business and ensure that everyone is working towards a common goal.
The overall objective for tax planning is to not only minimize one’s net taxable income, while maximizing any deductible expenses. It also serves to maximize income by paying less in taxes through the development of custom strategies.
Creating a successful business requires a combination of strategies but most importantly, the focus must be to consider tax planning in addition to continual development, flexible thinking, strong leadership and management and providing value.

Vining from these LOVE notes from my tea fam 👯💕⠀
“ Sipping a cup of tea makes me feel like I’m coming home, not to a particular place, but to a safe space only myself and my thoughts exist. ⠀
It’s my uninterrupted time to get lost in the aromas and soak in the flavors. ⠀
While sipping tea I do my best dreaming and creating,I play with designs and put together words in my mind. ⠀
Nearly every great idea I’ve ever had, has been with a cuppa tea in my hand!”⠀
- Kira Hyde ☕⠀ @kirahydecreative ⠀
I was going to write a whole other part to this caption, but when I look up and see how beautifully Kira describes her tea moment, I figure there is nothing more that I can add. ⠀
It speaks for itself. ☕️⠀
If you have ever wondered about starting your own business remember this quote! "A big business starts small" by Richard Branson
Every business starts small and you always get out what you put in!
Running your own business is by no way an easy route but if you have the passion and desire to do it for whatever reason you can make it a success.

So excited to be working at the brand spanking new INDY MTS co-working space in Springwood. I love being able to work alongside others, collaborate together and help each other out when we get stuck.
So thankful that I have this space only 5 mins from my home, with coffee shops & the convenience of delish cafe food only a few steps away.
If you’re freelancing from home, is it time you stepped out of your comfort zone and joined a co-working community?
Let me know if you want to check it out! Or visit http://www.indymtns.org/
Sourced with my PFF’s @ssweet_pineapples & @shop_kirsten and then did some shopping on my way home! It was a long day and this isn’t even everything! 😍

One thing I have accepted recently is the fact that I am not ever going to be a ‘perfect business owner’ I make mistakes all day, but I’m learning so, so much through it all. Everything you see on Instagram is honest highlights of our day, but there are definitely times where I have my head in my hands, when things get too much.
Sometimes when I think too much about the mental health epidemic + environmental issues our planet is facing, it makes everything seem pointless. We need to talk more about these issues and not catastrophize on our own. Our SCC community is so strong, we can talk about anything 💚
I have made a few small changes to my life recently which is a kick start for a whole new way of living. I’m dealing with my anxiety + low mood head on, through exercise, eating colourful plants 🌱 and always being honest with myself + others.
It’s ok not to be perfect, none of us are, as long as we do our best in life, nothing else matters 💚.
Thank you all so much SCC family for being my absolute rock 🙏 much love to you all.
I'm back! Phew! After a little break and some much needed rest I'm gettin’ back on the horse and trudging forward. It’s been a rough go the last few weeks between the flooded basement, lightning striking our house, Simon's two surgeries, a stomach virus getting both Andrew and I, another emergency visit to the vet for Sarge... to say it's been tough would be an understatement. •
I broke down more than a few times. I kept asking myself why? Why did this all happen? Why do things keep going wrong? Why can't I seem to catch my breath? And the truth is, there is no reason why. It just happened.🤷🏻♀️ And we are still here standing tall even though there were moments that felt like we wouldn't get up again. But here we are!
I chose to share this cutting board today because it really embodies how I'm feeling. You all helped me and continue to help me through this bumpy road and I am forever grateful!
In stories this evening I will explain everything a little further but I have decided to move my #makersrealtalk to Thursdays going forward. So be on the lookout for more info on that! 💕But tell me everyone, what is something that you are grateful for? 🤗💕🌳🔥
🌳🏷This acacia cutting board is currently available in my @etsy shop for $40. Head to the link in my bio if you are interested!
