In May of this year, our dear friend Mrs. Sherri had a terrible car accident. The bank where she works and a lot of other amazing people in Giles County hosted a huge benefit for her yesterday. It was a huge success. .
She has always been a shining light in the community and we are so blessed to call her our friend!
Please lift her up in your prayers. Pray for continued healing and more movement in her body and the ability to walk again. .
Our Lord is a miracle worker and Sherri is a living testimony of that. .
Tullie, Sadie and I are wearing “When Life Gives You Lemons” t-shirts in honor of her recovery! .
Quiet Sunday morning on the corner. I pass this mural every time I walk down to the river. One of the things I love about Port Byron is the amount of random street & community art for a little Rivertown of 1700💛 #portbyron#smalltown#guitar#mural#home

Sunday evenings in August are all about live JAZZ🎶! Join us tonight 6-8pm!
The Hancock Old Home Day parade yesterday. There were old cars, miniature animals wearing flower garlands, a pennyfarthing, a float dedicated to our annual thaw-predicting fundraiser, the public library’s tribute to Charlotte’s Web. Did I mention the miniature animals wearing flower garlands?? Glad I could be here to celebrate my hometown.
Day 18, year 18. Freshman year of college....and the worst year of my life. I went into college not wanting to be there. I wanted to be in a musical theatre program. I didn’t want to sing classically. Stevens Point was a much smaller town than what I was used to and I felt trapped. I had a hard time making friends, I wasn’t performing in musicals, I was severely depressed, I was out partying all the time, I got my heart truly truly broken and I ended up on academic probation. The one light this year was my incredible voice teacher Dr Willhoit. He never gave up on me. It is because of him that I stayed in the voice program and he is the reason I am the singer I am today. I also had a complete breakdown and had my hair dyed an awful orangish blonde #countdownto30#dayeighteen#yeareighteen#college#smalltown#depression#firsttimeawayfromhome#stronger#musicheals#triedtogoblonde#itdidnotendwell

Cheers to another year of craving your kiss. Happy 1 year Beth & Kayla!
Thank you for believing in me when I am unable to believe in myself 💛 It’s hard to watch others devote their lives to music and not have the ability to do the same. However, a good friend of mine told me “it doesn’t mean never, it just means not right now” and that meant a lot to me 🥰 When I was little, I used to perform for my stuffed animals almost everyday. I used to sign my name in Expo on all of my CD’s and pretend to hand them out to fans. Although i’m not “famous” i’m incredibly grateful for the support that I have gotten thus far 💛 Country music was the only thing that was there for me through all the obstacles i’ve faced. I’m happy that i’ve been able to get to know all of you who love it just as much as i do 🥰 thank you for being amazing and pushing me to continue singing on top of being a full time student in college 💛 i wouldn’t have been able to continue this without all of your support
I told you this wall matched my pants 😜
