2️⃣ Morning tea catered by the fantastic team at @chicken.orthe.egg. 👏🏻 I’m thinking their utterly vibrant smoothie bowl with a side of PB + J for everyone! 🥳 Am I predictable? Perhaps a little. 😆 But don’t knock it till you try it!
3️⃣ Freedom to work from ANYWHERE that makes us as individuals both productive and happy. 👉🏻 Outside. In a cafe. In a team. Individually.
Oh .. and one more! 🙋🏽♀️ I’d try to implement group training sessions to beat the 3pm slump! 🏃🏻♀️ You know I’m all about that life!

Can you really argue with this? If you’re producing quality content and product, people will WANT to share your business. You won’t even have to ask them. You already know “quality is the best business plan.” Am I right?
This is my favorite quote to share, because it works and it’s real folks. If you want change, in anything, just take one step. Any step towards the dream, and it becomes a goal!
Sarah and I had a dream to get to Krabi, Thailand one year ago, and started to make that dream a goal by making a list of what we would do if we went to Malaysia and Thailand. Everything else little by little happened over the course of 9 months.
We started going out less so we could save money for the trip, we started watching YouTube videos ( @divertliving ) of other people who were traveling and just kept marching steadily towards our goal.

I get asked this a LOT, so I was happy to finally set the record straight...
HASHTAGS WORK AMAZINGLY WELL IN 2019! use them. use all 30 of them. use them on every single post. use the same hashtag list on every single post. put them in the comments or in the caption because it really doesn't matter.
oh, I'm sorry, does that advice go against what you've heard SO MANY SOCIAL MEDIA GURUS tell you? maybe you should check your sources...there is a TON of misinformation being spread by social media personalities because they want you to see them as "the person with the inside scoop" or "the person who has all the info before anybody else" or maybe they truly believe that they're right, idk, but regardless, at the end of the day, how many of their claims can be fact-checked?
I never want to throw stones, and I'm not trying to put other social media personalities down because there are some awesome people out there doing a great job serving their audiences, BUT the noise has to stop.
if you can't fact-check something, research it yourself. try it out. ask somebody else about their experience. don't get caught taking advice on how to manage your precious profiles when you don't even know whether or not the advice is rooted in truth.
so, that said, let me make sure I give you the chance to fact-check what I'm saying here about hashtags... I have plenty of data to prove that hashtag reach is ridiculously effective and should be utilized as well and as often as possible.
check out my Highlight titled, "Hashtags" or the one titled, "Hashtag Placement." both of those will give you some additional insight into how well hashtags can work to reach a targeted audience when used effectively, and I have even more impressive data to confirm these claims from as recently as this week.
so ya, hashtags work. anybody who tells you otherwise is wrong until further notice.

THE 80/20 RULE OF SELLING ON SOCIAL MEDIA!! ✅👇🏼
80% of your content should be value driven. Meaning it should aim to inform, educate, and entertain.
20% (no more, no less) can directly promote/sell your business.
We (as consumers) are constantly bombarded by advertisements. Everywhere we go from the grocery store 🛒 to our own inbox 📨, there is always someone trying to sell us something. Most of these ads we have no control over. We can’t unsubscribe from the billboards on the side of the road.
Social media is one of the few place we’re we DO have a say in the ads we see. Why? Because we have the power to choose who we follow/unfollow. No one in their right mind is going to follow an account that is constantly self-promoting - they’re just not 🤷🏼♀️.
Soooo.... businesses have to be extremely strategic in how they promote/sell themselves.
This is where the 80/20 rule comes into play. .
80% of your content needs to be CONSUMER focused (aka not about you or your business), relatable and SHAREABLE. For example:
🔹Free tips & Tricks
🔹User generated content
And ONLY 20% of the time can you ask for people’s business. But even these “promotional posts” are not your typical ads. Instead these need to educate and inspire your customers to take action. For example:
🔸Educate on the benefits of your offerings
🔸Relate to your costumers pain/frustration
🔸Offer discounts & promotions
🔸Announce company updates
🔸Introduce your team
🔸Share success stories
In short, the best ads on social media, do not look like ads 📵. They’re not overly salesy, and they do not stand out from the rest of your feed!
Now this is not to say that you shouldn’t promote/sell on social media. Because you absolutely should! You don’t get anything you don’t ask for and sales are no different 💰. You have to be comfortable asking people for their business. But you also have to give them a REASON to support you. That’s the golden rule - give more than you take! 👍🏼

👉 3 Reasons why I started blocking my Instagram followers.
I believe you know that only around 10% of your audience is actually seeing your posts in their feed. If you didn’t know, then hello, life is unfair, deal with it 🤷♀️
So I decided to get rid of some followers, especially commercial accounts and mass followers that don't help me to grow.
🔻 Followers mean nothing if they are not real people who are interested in what you do.
🔻 Ghost followers, inactive and fake accounts trigger the Instagram’s algorithm against you.
As I've mentioned Instagram shows your content to 10% of your followers. What happens when those 10% of the audience you reach is filled with ghost followers, inactive and fake accounts? They don't engage.
Instagram thinks that your content is not interesting. Next time even a smaller number of people will see your posts.
❗️So DELETE useless followers❗️
🔻 I decided to post engaging content and focus on my real audience who really cares about what I do.

Cuando me preguntan sobre “la visión en los negocios”, esto es lo que imagino.
La visión no es aquello que ves literalmente con los ojos, es aquello que ves con la mente y no te deja dormir por las noches, aquello que hace que te levantes motivado y que no quieras detenerte, es aquello por lo cual te dicen que estás loco, pero que sabes que se hará realidad. Nunca bajes tu visión, nunca negocies tu visión, nunca deseches tu visión. Es mejor ser “el loco” que el “normal” o ser parte del “promedio”.
Aquellos que nunca han tenido una gran visión no podrán entenderte, pero aquellos que vibran día a día por su visión si lo hacen, y en este momento están teniendo escalofríos mientras leen esto.

Cuando haces un negocio, el objetivo más básico es el dinero pero también es uno de los más bajos.
En los negocios, se tiene la oportunidad de crear y entregar valor a las personas, de dar servicios de muy alta calidad como de impactar la vida de cada uno de los clientes e incluso de sus familiares.
Crear un negocio, hacerlo crecer y llegar a miles o millones de personas tiene grandes responsabilidades y el valor es la clave. Un gran negocio, sostenible y estable generalmente es un negocio que da muchísimo valor a mucha gente, es un negocio que aporta de gran manera a la sociedad.
No te enfoques en el dinero ya que es un resultado de entregar mucho valor.
