What Is Your Strategy For Life?
You didn’t get a handbook for life when you were born. That doesn’t mean you don’t need to build a strategy. What has helped shape your life strategy thus far?
There are a variety of factors that contribute to a life strategy – mostly, your values, beliefs, your goals and wants.
If your strategy is simply to do well and hope for the best, I’m sorry to say that just won’t be enough.
You need to determine exactly how you plan to achieve the goals and desires you have.
The first step in this process is being honest with yourself about what you really want. As well as being honest with yourself regarding where you are in life and dealing with a hard truth or two.
Are you ready to be honest with yourself about your life?
Progress won’t happen overnight, but it definitely can’t happen if you don’t take the first step to make changes. 📧 email@example.com

I love taking photos of my work.
As a business owner and #solopreneur I wear MANY hats.
But out of everything I do, my absolute favorite part of my business is styling and photographing my work.
I love learning new things about food photography and being inspired by my some of my favorite accounts: @foodtographyschool (I took their #ifoodtographyschool course) @frostingandfettuccine @sinamizrahi @overtimecook •
I hope that wherever this business journey takes me I’ll continue to pursue this creative outlet.
I love this shot that @sharoni_galeano captured of me behind the scenes photographing my birthday cake. 🎂

I'm doing a bit of research and to make it interesting I'm offering something special: ❓I would like to find out which challenges you are facing currently? Below is a list of the top 5 challenges my clients come to me with. It would be so helpful if you could please comment with the challenge number that you identify with most. If there is anything not on the list that you'd like to share please feel free to do so.❓ 🎉 From everyone who comments, I will draw one name on Friday and that person will receive a 90min coaching intensive online session absolutely free! 🎉
Example #1 : Let's say the problem is lower back pain. The solution is a new sitting technique.
Your promise (a.k.a. the olive branch) could be: “Simple sitting technique soothes lower back pain while increasing mobility by 50%. All without any of the side effects of pain killers or scalding heating pads."
Example #2 : The problem could be no clean running water in a remote village. The solution is a well.
Your promise (a.k.a. the olive branch) could be: "Your $50 donation will help an entire village (population 2,500) access clean drinking water, prepare safe and edible meals, and no longer be at risk of bacteria infection for an entire month. This prevents villagers from desperately using the water that has resulted in over 300 deaths per year. " .
Example #3 : The problem could be $485/month average electric bill. The solution is energy efficient windows.
Your promise (a.k.a. the olive branch) could be: Cut your energy bill by 49% and stop exposing yourself to harmful UV rays inside your own home.
In giving your promise, spend time describing it. It helps to know at least 2 – 3 benefits. And include pictures and proof to drive it home.
*5 ways to make your Instagram profile more effective*
1. Use your profile picture to highlight you!
Use a professional branded photo or even a good quality-selfie. When people click on your profile, they want to see YOU! Having a picture of yourself in your profile picture makes it more personal, and humanizes Instagram. If you do end up going for the selfie (no shame in that!) make sure it doesn't have a weird/distracting filter on it- you want people to recognize you! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Use your bio to highlight what you do + who you serve + how you serve.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve talked about this one before because it’s so important. People read an IG bio in 5 seconds and within those 5 seconds, they want to be given a reason of why they should follow you. How does following you benefit them? Answer that question in your bio! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Have your business title or brief explanation of what you do in your Name section, along with your personal name if there’s room.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This increases searchability and helps more people find you!
4. Have a clear + personal Call-to-Action written in your bio, directing the person to your website link.
This could look like “Grab your copy of 10 ways to increase revenue this month” or “Sign up for my upcoming free 1-week Business Growth challenge”. Something that provides value and gives the person a reason to click on your website, which brings me to my next point…
5. Have a landing page for your website link!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This landing page can have all your different links in one spot. If they’re on IG, they might wanna come hang with you on Facebook and Pinterest too! Or, they want to learn more about your services + packages. There are multiple free + paid platforms that do this, I like Linktree! You can also design a page on your website especially for this purpose. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you see something you can implement right now? Did you already know all of these tips? Comment below and tell me! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Blessed to have such a stunning beach and landscape on my doorstep. There's just something so relaxing about the sound of the sea. However hard we work we all need somewhere to chill and recharge our batteries.
You’ve put time into preparing for meetings with clients, partners, and/or stakeholders. The meeting happens. It was effective and you’ve got some “Next Steps” to take care of.
...but not until you finish this other meeting that you’re rushing off to. You come out of that meeting, and you have yet another set of action items to handle.
When you’re moving & grooving between meetings all day, facilitating your own post-meeting action items can become burdensome. After the meeting has happened, work doesn’t stop there. In fact, most of the time, it means there’s more work to be done.
If you’ve ever found yourself in this position, just know that there is a solution. Your credibility doesn’t have to be falsely compromised because you’re truly just a busy person.
Leave your meetings, e-mail/text me your action items and let me handle the rest. I’ll make sure that no work gets left behind.

I did it. I took action on the thing I’ve been procrastinating for months now.
To be honest, I am a bit embarrassed to share this considering I own a yoga studio.
Today is a new day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am learning...
to be present in every moment.
to be patient with my dreams and ambition.
to forgive myself for all the excuses I told myself when I wasn’t practicing what I preach.
to accept external factors that I cannot control.
12 minutes is all it took out of my, so called, “busy schedule”🙄 to do a gentle yoga practice... while waiting for my soup to reheat on the stove.
Today is day 1 of a 30-day challenge.
I did not plan for this... but instead of scrolling social media while I waited for lunch, I decided to go to the Yoga app that I had previously downloaded, select the challenge that I had previously added to my favorites, and I went outside.
Guys, I wasn’t even wearing yoga clothes - along sleeve shirt and short shorts. But I didn’t want to overthink anything. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am sharing this with you as a way to stay accountable, maybe inspire a few, but wholeheartedly, I’m doing this to create a healthier + happier me💕

10 words that describe the life of an entrepreneur:
. #4 Skills: They pay the bills.
Learn a skill, master it, and then offer it in a way that makes the world a better place.
If you’re pressing toward a goal with seemingly no end in sight, this is for you.
I once heard a story about a young traveler and an older man. The traveler heard glorious things about this mountain in the distance, and decided to do whatever it took to get there.
Along the way however, he grew tired, exhausting his resources, body, and mind. As he contemplated turning back, he came across an older man sitting peacefully beneath a tree.
“Where are you going?” The elder asked.
“I was going to that mountain there” (the younger pointed) “...but I’ve been walking for a long time already; I don’t think I will get there.”
The elder smiled serenely.
“You may not reach it today, and you may not reach it tomorrow. But so long as every step you take leads toward that mountain, you will reach it.”

. My father-in-law once said to me "Unless you enjoy gardening and drinking beer you'll never be truly British." 🤣🥴🥴😂
. So I'm half way there as a few years ago, I learnt to 'garden'. It's the first time I was introduced to secateurs: how to hold them; what to do with them; and how to blimin' spell them!
. Here I am, four years on, in our beautiful garden I created with the help of my gardening teacher who I met through networking with @decorcafenet - I feature it throughout the year on stories.
. Networking...it's been one of the most valuable business tools I've learnt and it's helped me to connect with other creatives, learn new skills which aren't always related to work and most importantly, helped me create a garden our family and friends enjoy.
. The power of networking - try it.

Today, my lesson is that when you look at tables and see people you respect and admire, know that when you’re invited to seat at that table, you are more than qualified to be there. ⠀
Imposter syndrome is one of the greatest things we battle, especially as women in business. We have the voice in our heads shouting a big No at every single move to greatness but understand that you’re qualified to be at that table. ⠀
You deserve a sit and take that sit. ⠀

Type YES if you agree?
The judgements someone makes on you are none of your business, and you don’t have to spend another second thinking about it. You do you. Stay in your own lane, blinders on. <3

The famous itty bitty sh*#^y committee. Always judging. Always criticizing. Always negative. Thank them for trying to keep you safe, but you got this now.
