On our second day at Africat, we went to see the cheetahs. These few were rescued from being kept as pets after many years, so unfortunately will not be able to be released back into the wild.
There are a number of other cheetahs here who will one day be released, so these are kept well away from human contact to avoid them becoming habituated - or as far away as is possible, at least. Staff and vets only.
Major props to the lovely lady who was kind enough to click my picture. She even suggested that I sit Infront of this elephant graffiti.
Turn out, asking a stranger to click a picture of you during your solo travel in not that intimidating!! #solotravel#udaipur#rajasthan
Snaps from Brno, the second city of Czech Republic where beer is sometimes cheaper than bottled water🍺
Czech Republic consumes the most beer in the world per capita so there are lots of pubs & people out in the streets drinking delicious beer👌
The Mortuary Temple of #Hatshepsut , also known as the Djeser-Djeseru (Ancient Egyptian: ḏsr ḏsrw "Holy of Holies"), is a mortuary temple of #AncientEgypt located in #UpperEgypt . Built for the Eighteenth Dynasty #pharaoh Hatshepsut, it is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the #Nile near the Valley of the Kings. This mortuary temple is dedicated to #Amun and Hatshepsut and is situated next to the mortuary temple of #Mentuhotep II, which served both as an inspiration and later, a quarry. It is considered one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt." #luxor#egypt 🇪🇬 #travel#discover#tour#tourist#solotravel#backpacker
