As it is #worldphotographyday I thought I'd repost three of my favourite photos I've ever taken.
This first one was taken at @thedeephull of a Jellyfish. I patiently waited until it swam into view and snapped this.
“If you're walking down the right path and you're willing to keep walking, eventually you'll make progress.” - President Barack Obama. It’s my belief and it’s just my humble opinion that if we focus less in this world on being right and more on doing right, we can be more empathetic towards one another and we all win in the end. It’s what our fathers and mothers taught us at a young age, long before the world became more and more cynical. Empathy and love is one of God’s greatest gift. It’s what we are taught every Sunday to feel for something greater than one’s self. To do unto others as you would have them do unto you (Luke 6:31). The more that people see the positives and silver lining of every person and situation, the more that we can lift each other up versus tearing people down. And the more we can grow as an individual. It’s why I created the account and group @weclickdc to inspire positivity in the world. It’s why we’re going to be doing great things for the community. If we wish to see a world better than we left it, let’s all start with a little more empathy and love. Sprinkle every action with a little inspiration and kindness and go from there. Happy Monday everyone! I may be naive but I truly hope people look at this image with some degree of positivity. For myself, he’s an inspiration and role model in so many ways. But even if you may agree or disagree with this politics, let’s hope at the very least you acknowledge the father and man he is to his loving daughters and wife of 26 years. 💍❤️🙏

I love the desert. I like the quiet, the open land, the smells, and the unshakeable and resilient landscape. This was my first time in Marfa, Texas and it was an incredible experience. I slept in a tent (which had a bed - so it was pretty nice!), froze my butt off at night and the early mornings, and it was hot and dry during the day. When I took this night shot, it was in the low 30's and the wind was blowing pretty good. I remember my hands being numb, but enjoying the light show of stars above. It showed me how resilient I can be. I have learned to adapt to all kinds of situations in the outdoors, as well as in life. I can't wait for more moments like this! #ThereThereFestival@moment
