This is my first Spartan Race Super, last year in Putrajaya, Malaysia, where I unknowingly ran a SEA Series elite category. This qualified me to earn points towards the SEA rankings.
I finished this race in 2hrs58min. I was expecting 4-5hrs finish time bec the race before this was my first race (Spartan Race Sprint) and it took me 2hrs. So psyched to have beaten the limits I put on myself.
Tomorrow, I will be running again with the Southeast Asia’s strongest #spartanwomen . Excited to share the course with them, and to beat my own race time. #PHRepresent
Just your daily reminder to challenge yourself! Don’t be afraid of aiming high 🚀 ✨
Completing the Beast with a 95% Obstacle Success rate was such an epic feat and I’m ready to improve even further. 👊🏼 I’m very excited to be getting my first @spartanraceau TRIFECTA by completing the Bright Super in November with @demiindrawansa 🙏🏼💪🏼
Training super hard with all the legends @plc_castlehill & focusing on our weaknesses to bring us our best race yet 🤗💪🏼
Is anyone else racing at Bright?
PS: I do not recommend eating medals 🏅😂 #spartanraceau#spartanrace#workout#spartanwomen#spartan#theplcmovement
We’re in it together 💪
Thank you @spartanraceuk@hr4k_ & @hstadventures for bringing the team together to take on this challenge. Blind veteran, Paul Jacobs, wanted us to experience a Spartan race without our sight. It was fear-inducing but we enjoyed being a part of it. Looking forward to what we can achieve 🙌✨ @j_bra_ham@firstname.lastname@example.org
Good news is...
I’m doing something right 😂
We don’t do it perfectly, but we keep doing.
It’s been bout 10 days since my last run 🏃🏼♀️
But my fastest split mile times yet, up here in elevation.
Guess my HIIT, strength, and yoga 🧘🏼♀️ at home is just the recipe I need to keep making strides.
Find your recipe, and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Headed to the @spartanrace US Championship race in Snow Basin Utah this weekend for what I'm hoping will be another incredible race experience. Thrilled to have my newest sponsors supporting me!

This moment was everything to me 💕Becoming a Aunt. After my brother passed away it was always very hard on me that my children wouldn’t have an Uncle and I would never be a Aunt, until Jerred walked into my life. Stetson has the best Uncle Bub and I get to be a Aunt to this sweet little girl and it’s the best feeling ever. Hayzel you are so loved and Stetson thinks you are ADORABLE❤️

* ✋Raise your hand if get those #taperfeels ?✋
* The taper game can be a difficult one. We lower the amount we are running and training. We increase our caloric intake, significantly if we were at a caloric deficit. The scale might go up. Our schedule gets a little discombobulated. Theres a reduction in our stress reliever. We feel cramped, stir-crazy. Our body feels tight, ridged, in need of loosening up. Overall, we just feel like CRAP! And we start to think that we cant do what we've been training for. We cant run those miles, we cant do those obstacles. We question why we are doing this. *
But guess what? These things are all in your head! They arent true! Taper is such a mental game! We need to get out of our own heads and remember that we've trained hard, we've worked hard. The weight gain is temporary. We've got this. We are going to rock that race. It's all mind over matter. We need flip the script, take the negative thought and turn them into positive.
This weekend I head back to where it all began when I ran my very first obstacle course race two years ago: Spartan Race Indiana. I’ve gone back and forth on whether to share my American Ninja Warrior submission video with the world or keep it to myself as it has been a surprisingly healing journey that I’ll never be able to put into words. 💖💖 It is never too late in life to find a new passion or to chase new dreams. 💖💖

My first spa day! Good thing I had @fayestenning_ocr to show me the ropes... I could get used to this! 😍
There’s really something about Colorado that welcomes elegant grittiness. Aka: spartan women. 💁🏻♀️💁🏼♀️ ⚙️ 💪🏻 The breath taking landscapes that captivate and draw you in are comprised of terrain that forces you to push past any perceived limits. 😉
Ft. Carson race was uniquely challenging. It took quite the toll on our bodies. Ultimately, we ended up with top 10 finishes in both the super and sprint. The course featured stunning yet steep, technical terrain, tall grass and brush, and scorching 🥵 temperatures. Needless to say, it was incredible to race along side some gritty humans on the same terrain where our military prepares their minds and bodies to protect our country. 🇺🇸 💪🏻 thanks for hosting such an epic event @usaa and @spartanrace . . #grit#spartan#gritandglamour#spartanrace#america#colorado#grind#heat#spartanwomen#race#ocr#trailrunning#glamour

I thought I’d do a little Spartan Race prep update since the race is this Saturday 😳😱.
Before starting this prep, I was in desperate need of a goal. I felt stuck. I didn’t have a purpose in the gym and I struggled to be disciplined with my workouts and my nutrition. I really needed something that was focused on being STRONG 💪🏻 and not on being skinny.
I have worked HARD over the last 7 weeks. I’ve trained in new ways and I feel stronger than I ever have. I hit a minor snag with the ankle sprain last week 😅, but it is healing up great, and I feel confident that I’ll be able to race on it.
I have so much work to do, BUT I’m feeling really proud of the work I’ve put in and the mental shift I’ve made to a different type of goal.
You guys, go for that crazy goal. Do hard things. It’s good for the soul 😊.
Anyone else running the #utahspartan this weekend?!
