A homemade juice is a good way to break your fast if you’re not feeling up for solid food. I like to do a mix of sweet, spicy and citrus to keep it interesting so I can sip throughout the morning until I’m ready to eat. Today we have watermelon, mandarins, strawberries, carrots, lemon, ginger and mint; it’s sweet n zesty and feels like I’m sitting on a beach somewhere warm (mmmm). Basically any combo works, an easy tip is just chucking in whatever fruit and veg is starting to look off and hoping for the best. Stay hydrated, friends! 🌞 #tasteofindigo#juice

Just your weekly friendly reminder that I am still alive and to #stayhydrated
So we know to drink lots of water, but what about the sparkly and bubbly stuff? 💦💍❄️
I always recommend choosing #waterfirst to meet your water goal (see pic). Although, sparkling water is a good way to boost your water intake throughout the day. It is also always a great option over sweetened drinks. Here is what you need to know about sparkling water:
1. Carbonated water is simply water with added carbonation.
2. According to a study in the J Int Soc Sports Nutr., mineral water with added calcium and bicarb was more hydrating to athletes. Fun fact, one way researchers measured hydration status was studying their urine gravity… interesting
3. According to a study in the Am J Clin Nutr, carbonation alone was not shown to reduce bone mineral density. That belief comes from phosphoric acid, added to sodas, that bind to calcium and get excreted through our kidneys, causing weaker bones. Stay clear from phosphoric acid, sugar and artificial additives, and you should be okay!
4. Club soda is carbonated water with added salt so it will have sodium. Good to know if you need to watch your sodium intake.
5. Tonic water is not sparkling water and is in fact, closer to a cola than a water. It’s is high in calories and typically made with high fructose sweetener. .

Let’s talk hydration. As you are sick of hearing by now, I’m in a hot ass weld shop 10 hours a day. It doesn’t get below 90 until after 11 at night most days. So during one shift I will drink 1.5 to 2 of the big growlers of water. The 20 oz and evil plastic bottle have an electrolyte powder added since I was cramping and having muscle spasms. I will refill the 20oz bottle once with water. I also have a nice sparkling water for lunch. All that and I still probably only pee 10-16 ounces during work.... #weldlife#hydration#stayhydrated#hot#heat#dangerous#dehydrated
Sunday scaries are about to get a lot less frightening. Here’s our hack for a waaaay better morning after. 🙌🏽 INGREDIENTS:
1️⃣ 2 doses of Flyby hangover pills
2️⃣ 1 Liquid IV packet
Beat your hangover with 3 pills of Flyby when you start drinking. 🍺🥃🍷🍸🍾 When you get home, remember to take 3 pills before bed. Then, mix a @liquidiv packet with 16 oz of H2O💧first thing when you wake up 🌤. This works wonders for rehydrating and ridding your body of toxins from alcohol.
I’m about to do some yoga and I know how important staying hydrated is.
There is a heat advisory today so I’m trying to be proactive and not get dehydrated.
This stuff is amazing to drink during your workout to stay hydrated
During exercise body temperature rises, and if you are not adequately hydrated it can result in a drop in power and performance. Water alone during exercise isn’t the most effective way to hydrate, and typical sports drinks are filled with sugar and artificial ingredients that can actually do dehydrate you and causes gastrointestinal discomfort. For effective hydration during exercise the body requires an optimal balance of sugar, electrolytes, and water. This balance is known as the fluids osmolality. Hydrate becomes an optimal osmolality And specific electrolyte levels to help maximize fluid absorption and replace electrolytes lost during exercise. When used as directed hydrate has been specifically formulated to help match sweat loss and is completely customizable to training duration. Keep yourself hydrated to improve exercise effectiveness, recovery, and general well-being. #stayhydrated#amazing#hydration#duringworkout#momswholift#whatiuse#share#knowledgeispower
Fun fact: Stay hydrated and your vertebral discs will thank you! As we get older they shrink, losing water, causing deterioration over time. .
