From the files: The mood I want to bring into next week. This one shot in Zambia on a safari last year. I love this description of them so much by the Zambian tourism board: “The most secretive and elusive of the large carnivores, the leopard is also the shrewdest. Pound for pound, it is the strongest climber of the large cats and is capable of killing prey larger than itself.” Also worth a read is this tidbit: “Leopards have long been preyed upon by man. Their soft, dense, beautiful fur has been used for ceremonial robes and coats. Different parts of the leopard the tail, claws and whiskers are popular as fetishes... Once found in Europe, Asia, and Africa, the great cat’s range has declined dramatically in recent decades because of human intrusion, population growth, hunting, predation, disease, and other factors. The key to ensuring a future for leopards lies in gathering all pertinent information to create a comprehensive conservation action plan.” Heading back on safari next week to hopefully spot a few more beauties like this. May they be around for your children and your children’s children too.
Flying high..above the mountains.. Spiti is not commercialised unlike Ladakh and still boasts the charm of a desolate remote Himalayan landscape...This particular route is spectacular because of its multicoloured gigantic mountains. The region highly resembles Utah region in the United States that I had seen in many Hollywood movies. The sheer magnificence of this place will engulf you as you proceed further..Visit these untouched places before they become commercialised but do travel responsibly..please do not buy use and throw water bottles and remember eating Maggi is not cool anymore in these fragile mountains unless you make sure you collected the wrapper. The surrounding region is highly eco sensitive with many endangered species.

I’m overwhelmed by the multitude of birthday love, well wishes, text messages, calls and DM love I’ve received literally all day! Much love to all those who took the time.
Tomorrow I head back to #southisland New Zealand for a few days of tramping, hiking, photography and adventure which is well and truly the best way to spend my #bday
The passed year has been a roller coaster, but I feel like I’m on the fringe of a new chapter that’s going to provide true happiness, re-ignited love and wholehearted life experiences I’ve never had so I’m super stoked! Much love x
This is hands down my favorite spot in the Faroe Islands. As far as I can remember, I never felt so small standing on these massive cliffs; and the fact that thousands of seagulls were flying all around us just made this place even more unreal...

Anzeige | Do you guys like packing? I just haaaate it. We’re leaving to Teheran tomorrow and obviously I haven’t packed a thing. I’m just always way too scared I’m gonna forget something, so I’d rather not pack at all. I can already see myself fighting with my suitcase at 11 pm tonight, super stressed out, seconds away from a mental breakdown and still not even close to being finished. Ohhh well, we all have our little issues I guess... but yeah, I should better get started 🧳 | #dontjustexist | 📸 @nicaiken | @gandyslondon
