The Japanese castle that appears on television! 📺🗾
Himeji Castle in Hyogo Prefecture is one of the oldest structures in medieval Japan that still survives in good condition. 🏯
This castle frequently appears on Japanese TV, as the setting for films or series due to its colossal main tower. 🗻

Kapitan Keling Mosque is a Penang landmark. Built in 1801 by Penang’s first Indian Muslim settlers. It is the largest mosque in Georgetown and looks sublime at sunset.
You cannot know much about a new place by just being a 'tourist'.
You need to explore more than those usual touristy spots and constantly interact with locals.
You need to observe how life is on the other side.
You need to try and blend in with their culture and traditions wherever you can.

Tomorrow I’m heading to Khao Sok national park and getting back out exploring. I was in two minds about leaving to continue to travel or to stay and do my dive masters which is a 2 month course. I can’t really complete it without doing a visa run a few weeks before the end so I’ve decided to see some more places before possibly coming back to do it. I’ve loved my time diving, it’s one of those activities where you’re completely in the moment and forget about everything else. I’ve also met a lot of good people doing this and it’s something I could see myself doing for future work as I’ve never been that happy with my previous job. My plan for now is to head to Myanmar in the next week or so and maybe get the 2 month visa again for Thailand and extend it for another month as soon as I get here, giving me plenty of time to complete the course. Thanks @marian_kusi and @margafresco for everything and everyone else I dived with and met, hopefully I’ll see you all again at some point! 🌊🤟🏼
Did I ever mention that my hometown is a small island? This is my secret beach spot whenever I am home. The amazing sunset and the picture perfect view of the floating mosque in the background. I dont know what is it but the sound of the waves is so relaxing. I would spend hours here with my new favorite sand-free towel from @tesalate
Dont you just hate it when you would find sand in your bag even after a few weeks. This is why the ‘leaving the beach at the beach’ aspect of the Tesalate towel really appealed to me. It seemed too good to be true. However, the Tesalate towel really lived up to its promise. It is lightweight, quick dry and sand free!

India. I was unsure about this country.
My father, an experienced traveller, advised me about the intense, yet unforgettable experience I was about to have, but it was not until I landed in Dehli that I could understand the true meaning of his words.
India is so many things. It is chaos, noise and horns. It is screams, poverty, suffering and death. It is illness and dirt. India is uncomfortable.
But India is also colours, nature, wildlife, art, religion, food, culture, life, afterlife, joy, pleasure, breathtaking views, unforgettable smiles and an unimaginable beauty, like the one you see in Taj Mahal. India is an endlessly fascinating country. 🙏🏻

The #beautifulcambodian town of Kampot is famous for two things...
Spice for life
Salt and Pepper
Salt and pepper are just everyday condiments on the tables of many countries the world over, but to the people of Kampot, on the south coast of Cambodia, these elements make a real difference in lifting them out of poverty.
Over just three days it is possible to experience to glory of the aromas and textures of the locally produced pepper. Our recommendation is finding a nice tranquil bungalow on the river and cruising through the small village in order to truly appreciate all the hidden gems there are to offer...
