• I want to get caught in an endless moment, one that screams “there’s no going back.”
have you ever felt this way about life? like everything had suddenly changed and there you were, trying to catch up to where you found your physical self.
this is one of the sweetest spots in a person’s life. when everything seems off balance, it can be indicative of a mass restructuring. perhaps of circumstance, perhaps of soul, but one thing is for sure — you’ll never be the same.
do you feel like you’re undergoing a shift in your life? let me know in the comments👇🏼 @gloriyanedler xx
From isolated Tajikistan to the bazaars of Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬
While Upy was getting fixed we gorged ourselves on fantastically juicy peaches (10c each) and fresh pumpkin dumplings in the giant Osh bazaar. Right now we're 80km from the Kazakh border, stocked up on pistachios, almonds, fresh veggies, chocolate and even a few beers which we'll try to cool in our onboard fridge 🍺 We've certainly felt rushed to get to Russia by the 27th - much left to see in Kyrgyzstan for next time!

This little cup of deliciousness has been one of my Japanese highlights ... and all it is is some shaved ice, fresh mango 🥭 juice, fresh mangoes, and a little more shaved ice.
Can you tell how happy I am to be enjoying this little treasure?!?
What’s one of your favorite treats you’ve found when traveling!?

Very few visitors to the French capital dare to enter the infamous Banlieue. Not without justification. After all, there are some "awkward areas" that some travel guides warn against. But in the northern part of this Banlieue (more exactly in Saint-Denis) there is one of the most interesting cathedrals of this region. This cathedral is the tomb of the Bourbons and even if many tombs were plundered during the French Revolution and many of the bones were irretrievably lost, it is worth a visit. The tombs are simply incredibly impressive and form for me the perfect counterpart to the Capuchin crypt in Vienna. I travelled the area with the Metro one morning and didn't really feel insecure. However, I continued to travel early and did not walk there for hours with a big camera 😅

Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple, East Sikkim.
The temple lies on the road between the Nathula and Jepela pass approximately 64km from Gangtok. A shrine was built at his samadhi, at an elevation of around 4000 meters (13,123ft). Indian flag is hosted at side of temple. The temple is surrounded by scenic beauty with a mixture of greenery, rocks and waterfall.
One must visit this beautiful place for a lifetime experience!
I'm walking fast through the traffic lights , busy streets and busy lights and all we know is touch and go 🚏

Lucas Scott said “Happiness comes in many forms — in the company of good friends, in the feeling you get when you make someone else's dream come true, or in the promise of hope renewed. It's okay to let yourself be happy because you never know how fleeting that happiness might be.” I've missed the feeling of being at home and being able to stay up late at night, just feeling the cold breeze, stressing over nothing. I've missed the feeling of being contented with what you've got. Truly there's no place like home. I hope that everybody will eventually find their own happiness. 🌿
After spending the day in the Kubo where Lolo Leonides used to rest every afternoon, my cousins and I decided to eat in the riverside then take a dip, but the rain pour hard right after we ate.
Today, I'm allowing myself to explore and to be free from worries.
Some impressions of walking through Barranco and Miraflores with @konstantin_sobon, @jeffkeinath & @lifeofjosii today. Always a surprising moment when you expect the usual “Lima la Gris” during winter months but then the sun comes out and it feels like summer.☀️😍

21/8 Pamir Highway part 2: Upy scrapes in to Osh, Kyrgyzstan
As if two bigger problems weren't enough, Upy got another two quite serious problems on her way down from Pamir Highway. Firstly, we found out somewhere in the 20km of 4wd track of no mans land between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, that a suspension spring had snapped in half and we were now almost rolling on Upy's belly. As if that wasn't enough, on top of this it started snowing heavily! We couldn't see the bumps, holes and stones in the road so we camped only a couple of kilometres past the Kyrgyzstan border. Next morning, we found ourselves in a spectacular spot and further down the road we found our dear friends @teamccracers who made us pancake breakfast! After filling our stomachs with golden food we push-started Upy towards the best mechanics in Osh; but with 80km to go, Andreas found that he couldn't move the gear stick left or right, meaning we only had 3rd and 4th gear left. With Upy having a tiny 1.2L motor, we not only needed to roll-start her, but then jump in at 15km/h so that she had enough momentum to engage 3rd. How scared we were of having to stop on an uphill for all the crossing cows! Incredibly, we managed to get to Osh and in 24hrs fix the start motor, reweld the exhaust pipe, loosen up the gear stick, and get 3 new springs, raising her from 4 fingers high to almost 10! (Excuse the spots in the pictures - Micah's camera is full of dust). •
