So yesterday a bunch of us got on a boat with our divemaster Andy and skipper Cassie of @wetu_safaris. Cos we were all girls we dubbed ourselves "Andy's Angels" 😂😂🙈 and took the propa piss outa that, posing with 'Angels' biscuits even (swipe to see) ... which btw are not a good idea to eat while out on a dive 😆 and neither was the delicious condensed milk "chocolate" (NOT) which we were given as somewhat of an initiation 😝 and fed some fishies with 🤮 haha.
We freedived with sooo many sharks wow. I touched a shark fin for the first time 😱 and heard the whales singing in the water again! 😍😍😍 The deeper I dived, the louder they got 😀🎶🐋🎶 We went to explore some reefs but the water was murky and there was a boss current pulling us along FAST. BUT that was actually sooo much fun, I played with the current and let it take me and spin me around in an effortless underwater dance. It felt amazing 💙💃💙 plus I learnt some new skills.. One in particular that I am super stoked about 😁 AND we saw a pod of dolphins on our way back to shore. All in all, the best morning ever! 😁
THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!! WOW, so super blessed!!! 🌊🙏🏻🌊🙏🏻🌊 🔜 More pics coming soon
I’ve been wanting to capture this shot for quite a long time now. When I imagine a certain image in my head I’m kind of a perfectionist about it. There are a lot of factors that come into play when I’m deciding if it’s time to share my idea. How are the water conditions, lighting, location, what am I wearing, how do I feel, is the photographer down, will they capture and edit it the way I imagine or better? Everyone has a different style of shooting. Some bright with color, dark and moody, subject close up or far away. No matter the style, every single photographer I shoot with are ALL extremely talented individuals. I’m beyond grateful and lucky to get to collaborate with such creative minds. I’m so happy I was able to finally bring this idea to life and that @chau1988 was the one with me when all the cards seemed to be right. He not only captured exactly what I was imagining but put his own creative twist to it! #divetosurvive#freshwater#springs 📸:@chau1988
Sound on 🔈🎶

Weddell seals typically only make these vocalisations to communicate while underwater, although on rare occasions they’ll also make these eerie sounds while hauled out on the ice.
