Just wanted to share an exciting update that we are totally booked out the rest of August and September is booking up fast!! 💙✨🌿 If anyone still wants to come hang with us in this little gem, there are still tons of fun festivals and events happening all throughout September and October (farm tour, apple fest, film festival, etc) See the link to our #airbnb site in the comments!!
On another inspirational note - just wanted to say don’t be afraid to INVEST IN YOUR DREAMS!! I’m discovering this so much in this endeavor and my other business that I am building and growing. It can be scary, it can seem totally crazy silly, people may think you’re nuts but DO IT ANYWAYS! Don’t be afraid to ask for help (we did!), don’t be afraid to go into debt (we are!), don’t worry if people try to talk you out of it or “talk some sense” into you (they did!!) Life is too short to do everything totally sensible. Take a risk! Follow your heart! Trust your gut! And DO THE WORK and abundance will find you and your dreams will fall into your lap 😜 ....how’s that for some Tuesday night motivation?!?
Me (while trying to purchase fabric for front window cover): “Ok. So the bolt is 4.5 feet wide, and I need 24” long which means I can cut this in half and have some left over... but the Airstream is about 9 feet wide, so I need 3 yards long... plus the curve in the window, so maybe 4 yards long, now what did I say was half??”
Kyle (while calmly trying not to look at me too crazy): “The original curtain is folded right here on the shelf. I’ll just measure it.”
We really do make a great team! We’ve found some great pieces for the interior design, but our coolest purchase this week was the new interior insulation! We’ve decided to use sheep’s wool for the insulation... Have you heard of it? It seems like a pretty cool product, and we’re excited to get the delivery in a few days!
Soft smooth caramel and the sweetest balance of cinnamon and sugar 💋 Apple Pie, you will always be the favorite! Anyone else agree? You can buy apples starting TOMORROW afternoon at @downeast_santan or @sweetzbrew 🎉🎉🎉
>•< In case y’all are wonderin’ where your packages are bein’ sent from. Here’s my lil’ office, 1967 Roadrunner travel trailer 🤠🧡 >•<

I am a traveler.
Ever since I was a little girl, I've been drawn to the bohemian/gypsy life. And for almost 4yrs now, I have been working towards the life I've always dreamed of.
Last year, I finally got the house sold, bought my tiny trailer, and started traveling the country with my kiddos. The road felt like home. We traveled to so many National Parks in just a few short months, and met amazing humans along the way, like the amazing @zionadventurephotog
It was truly the adventure of a lifetime, and I'm honestly still trying to process it all.
People ask where we live now, and in all honesty, we live nowhere and everywhere all at once. In the truest sense, we are gypsies. We are literally on the road right now, traveling back from an epic extended weekend back in Colorado with family, and are looking forward to the next adventure.
Though my gypsy life isn't exactly what I envisioned when I was younger, damn is it close. I can feel more changes coming. More freedom. More magical moments. I've already tasted it. I'm here, on the open road, breathing it all in, and I'm so damn GRATEFUL.
Prettiest flower girl ever, if I do say so myself. ♥️ This chicky is my world. She’s got the biggest smile, the silliest giggle, and one of the warmest, kindest hearts I’ve ever seen. She’s such a little love bug. And she loves the spotlight! Unlike her mama.
Tell Lily hi if you get the chance to meet her. She’ll be stoked!
Effie, Lari and Little Red. Aren’t they a cute little family? This was my first trip with the three of them. Such a great weekend spent with my dad and stepmom and the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people! The campground was packed and only myself and three other vintage trailers stayed Sunday night. It was so peaceful. That allowed for time on the lake, some quiet time reading and the four of us bonding over a campfire and wine Sunday evening. What a perfect weekend! Next trip is in 3 weeks!
I hope that you are making time in your schedule to do something that makes you happy.
My sweetie set up a solar system for the little trailer at Sister Wind! This black box is the controller that shows the battery status. The toggle turns the system on. Loving the little LED reading lights in the late evening! 🌝🌚 #vintagetrailer#gosolar#renologysolar
The back floor is out. It’s out! Oh my goodness we are doing this. Yes we are.
Once we took it out we knew we made the right call. Things need to be sound and safe from the ground up (or floor up!).

If you missed my post yesterday I mentioned that today is Dan’s birthday, so I am about to close up shop (photo of the Airstream office) and go join him for a celebratory beverage. He joked that it’s the anniversary of his 21st birthday (which I remember well and it wasn’t pretty, but that’s another story). Three cheers to another trip around the sun. 🎈🎈
One year on the road came and went. There’s so much that I’ve learned from this experience, and so many lessons to be learned still.
Amanda and I spent the summer of 2018 renovating our 1986 travel trailer. It’s an Avion, a spin off of Airstream. It was the most simultaneously frustrating and rewarding thing I’ve ever done with my own two hands. We gave ourselves a year to travel and work and agreed we would re-evaluate after a year. We recently decided to spend another year on the road in the rig (and are headed to Arizona shortly). I don’t think I’ve ever posted all of our old renovation photos here, so I thought I’d compile some to share. I’m proud of this space, as proud as I am about the small business that’s growing inside it.
To another year on the road with Geraldine (our rig) and of course Piggy and Poe. 🥂

Casey Kielbasa just wrote us about his discovery of a Holiday House Model X (Geographic) in Utah. He had his eye on the Geographic for over ten years and finally bought it. Congrats Casey on owning a unique and rare vintage trailer. Thanks for sharing! We will update the next printing of the field guide to note that three have been found.
What’s the rarest trailer you’ve discovered?
Just booked the cutest camper oasis in Topanga California!! I will be posting more pics when I get there in early October. It's the cutest one I've seen so far. #superexcited#sneakpeek
