Idk why I ever posted this, but uhhhh yeah, went to Australia and it was really cool and really surreal. Australia has been a dream of mine my entire life, for @omgitspriest to nonchalantly call me and be like “yo, you free to go to Australia in a few weeks?”, was pretty cash money of him. One of the most memorable moments of my life thus far. It’s crazy the journey I’ve been on and the people I’ve met!🤘🏼
Circa 1936 is a luxurious hotel with a lounge, spa, retail space and suites. It used to be the former Rural Bank of NSW.
Situated on the main street of Corowa in the Riverina Murray region of New South Wales, this property is a labour of love, patience and dedication of Kevin, his wife Ririn and their two lovely daughters Indi and Bella whom I met during dinner. Kevin has decades of experience in hospitality and this shows in the classy details of Circa 1936.
I walked around admiring how this local building has been so beautifully restored with the original bank vault now housing the library and wine cellar while the pennies art installation and sculpture made of pennies are a befitting tribute to the bank. An art deco fire place, grand piano, decadent food and interesting interiors added to my ‘wow’ factor.
I’d recommend not leaving Circa 1936 without experiencing one of the luxurious therapies at their spa. I tried the soothing Australian Kodo Massage where local herbs were burnt to remove negativity and aboriginal healing techniques with body oils relaxed me.
Do end the treatment with a milk bath with rose petals and chamomile flowers as you sip a wine of your choice. Bliss!

From the ground level, the AMEX constellation captivates and draws guests in with a hypnotic light show every half hour throughout the night.

Alright here's my last Vivid post for this year. While I only got 3 keepers from this year's Vivid festival, I'm very satisfied with what I got and the process of seeing the ideas come to life.
This one was another one that was in my head for a while and with sunset of the year and Vivid happening at once seemed like a good time to finally execute it.
This shot was made so much easier thanks to the @nikonaustralia D850 with it's floppy screen and focus peaking in live view. The two features made positioning the lens filter a piece of cake. 👌. _
