Just off the coast of Cornwall lies the Isles of Scilly, I would love to go but am not a fan of sea crossings. Has anyone ventured to the Isles of Scilly by sea? Thanks @sandselbizet2 for your photograph, I love the beautiful flower filled grasses you have captured.

Predicting which supplies are going to be available on #Kungsleden is proving challenging for Chrissie and Geoff. There's always stuff available, just not what you might be expecting!
The landscape, however, is predictably stunning.
Day 20. Walked 13.3 miles.
Said goodbye to my London friend today in Leon as she's having a rest day there and I'm moving on. It's been nice having her around the last few days but now I'm back to Lone Wolf which I actually quite like. I don't feel I've walked enough the last few days, that's partly the logistics of geography but it's probably done me good. I've had a good walk today and have bumped into my Irish friend C (who I met on day 1) in this albergue. They actually have sun loungers here but it's too hot to be out of the shade. I suspect nearer to the end we get, the more the facilities will reflect the state we're in - so it'll be hospital beds in the garden near Santiago 🤣. I didn't get much sleep last night due to the usual dorm jiggery pokery - at times I'm tempted to just get up, stand in the middle of the room and shout "right, can you all just pipe down, stop fiddling and go to sleep" but I'd have to know it in about 20 languages to be any good 😌
You meet some wonderful locals on the Camino, some of whom leave out gifts of food on tables - I met a lovely old guy today who gave me some sweets and a flower - probably the only time I'd accept a sweet off a strange man but this is the Camino, I thought I'd throw caution to the wind 😜
I'm on top bunk tonight. The guy below me was hiding under his hat when I went in. Well his face was hiding, he's not a hobbit. Well he might be when he takes his hat off, just a big one. If he does turn out to be a hobbit, I don't imagine I'll get much sleep...😣🤔 #caminodesantiago#pilgrimage#pilgrimlife#kindnessofstrangers#walking#tintodeverrano#sorefeet#albergue

Happy Sunday Loves! Hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend enjoying this lovely sunshine ⛰☀️! I’ll be taking my 🥾 to work and heading out afterwards! .
Soooo the We Find Our Way in Langdale walk is now completely FULL 🙌🏼. Thank you for such an awesome response 🙏🏼!..I can’t wait to meet you guys and show you around the beautiful Langdale Valley!
I recently visited the waterfall for the Sunday Walk..it was a pretty intense flow after all the rain we’ve had 🌊⛰🌊.. apologies for my big ugly mug being in the way of the view, I just didn’t want to ruin the surprise for the those of you who haven’t been before! 😅! Have a lovely Sunday folks whatever you’re up to!x
And one of our favorites...I can’t stress this enough. We need strength and we need SKILL. 2 different ball games here folks. I did a bunch of virtual consults today (which I love btw) and this was the going theme
You have to train the skill or you’ll just be really good at clamshells
Strengthening activates different areas of the motor cortex then skill training. (Jensen 2005)
Yes we have a frontal plane / coronal plane leak. Call it what you will, trendelenberg, gluteus medius inhibition. Don’t use the word weak 🤦🏻♀️. No one wants to hear they have a weak ass
Strengthening the gluteus medius does something different than retraining gait patterns. You need both. In fact if you look at the research, simply strengthening the glutes won’t do much to fixing this pattern, unless you train the SKILL #bingo
1️⃣. Stance leg. Step. Hip hike. And do it aggressively. Is there any other way? Frontal plane only. Hand on your 🍑 and feel something
2️⃣. Swing leg. Hand on your obliques. Dig your fingers into your sides. Aggressively. 😉. If you feel nothing, don’t be mad at your hip flexor, it’s tired of lifting your leg with no help (runners, cyclists, humans who walk upstairs, think groin pain here)
3️⃣ slowly lower. And those hands better still be feeling something. Eccentric control is the king of the hill. No leak. No sway.
4️⃣ make sure that big toe touches the outside of the band. No crossover
5️⃣ smile. Shit works better when you smile
6️⃣. RULE. 2 min before every run. Walk. You feel pain, 🛑🛑🛑 and do this for a minute and then keep going.

Hi mates! @y.badiner here, and I can’t wait to show you our next feature! Are you have any pets? Maybe you're walk your pets for some outdoor adventures? Today I'll show you one person, who love his tiny rubber ducks so much!
I love how @wilonekillah85 used sailor minifigure in yellow raincoat from new Hidden Side series with classic LEGO face and all these tiny ducks from this year's "people pack" set. I love everything in this photo: scale, angle, colors and overall cuteness of course! Also I love how simple it is. This image became my own unexpected gem for LEGO photography. It confirms once again that you don't need expensive stuff to make photo good shot, but you should to have some sense of beauty.
Hope you guys really enjoy this work! We're moving on and looking for our next feature, so don’t forget to use hashtag #brickcentral if you’re interested to be featured! Have a nice day! - @y.badiner

It’s official. I have become a walker. I love walking as a way to move and decompress. Want to start your journey but don’t know where to start? Start here 👇🏻. #repost@trent_mccloskey
🚶♂️Walking 🚶♀️such an underrated tool for fat loss 🙌
The bigger picture of losing body fat is getting yourself to move more and eat less…
Although sometimes this can be taken to the extremes of excessive cardio 4+ times per week and crash dieting ☹️
Not to say there isn’t a time and place to me more than normally focused (you can still do this in a healthy, sustainable way) on crushing your goals - especially in the beginning to get the ball rolling and see some results 😤
Walking should always be the foundation for whether you’re in transformation mode, just living your life maintaining what you’ve created, and for staying healthy ✅
Any motive you have for changing your body needs to start small - hydration, sleep, better food choices, etc. are all the “little” things that last forever and replace those bad habits keeping you from your goals 👍
It sounds so simple, but I think we’re all surprised that most folks aren’t getting near 10k steps per day with driving to work, sitting throughout, then driving back home to the couch 😅
I love walking for a few main reasons:
1️⃣ You’ll burn calories without ramping up appetite much
2️⃣ It’s a great time to catch up with friends and family ⠀
3️⃣ You can bump your favorite podcast and/or audiobook
4️⃣ Relieve stress after a long day and get some fresh air
5️⃣ Awesome time to think and reflect on life
You getting your steps in to help with your fat loss goals? What’s your favorite thing to do while walking? Mine is probably 3 and 5 🙃
Have a great rest of your day 💯
