Back to the pizza checklist and a notable new EV addition comes in to rival giants Artichoke and half namesake Joe’s.
Why have just the Joe’s when you’ve got the “and Pat’s” option? All jokes aside, this surprisingly nice place boasts a large menu of Italian favorites and outside dining options.
For the main attraction, The “tweener” pizza is just thicker than bar pizza and just thinner than a NY slice. The unique style is appealing and the tomato sauce is so fresh id say it’s one of the best out there. Due to the thin nature of the pizza, the crust is more of a brittle, burnt crunch than a slightly crisped chew. And for that reason, this daily meal #9 comes in a notch lower on my list and takes 4th in Manhattan, 12th overall. #eastvillageeats#nycslice#thinpizza#pepperonipizza#brodates#joeandpats#welcometomanhattan
How does my move into Manhattan start? By sweet-talking an Uber driver into masquerading as my “moving truck” after the first guy hightailed it away from my Bronx home. Sailing smoothly for the bridge to “Murder She Wrote,” we penetrate the glistening night, until he pulls the Acura clean up and over the sidewalk directly in front of my new place dramatically and I check in at the last possible minute before the cut-off time for the evening...🙆🏻♀️
This is everything I have in the city. I moved here last July with 5 pieces of luggage including purse and laptop case; somehow it burgeoned into 7 garbage bags, 2 boxes plus the usual luggage.
I can absolutely be classy, but tonight was “git-her-done.”🌟🌟🌟 #keepingitclassy#entrance # #welcometomanhattan#nyc#welcometotheneighborhood#movingonup
Coming off the Queensboro Bridge into Manhattan, the noise from the cheering crowds rose into a deafening roar. I had started to fall back on my pace in the miles leading up to this, but seeing -- and hearing -- the crowd support was enough to put me back on track. From there on out (Mile 16) I was able to hang with the 3:30 pace team. By this point in the race, the elites had already finished and Meb was giving his post-race interview, being displayed on the big screen. Fantastic race all around! #tcsnycmarathon#newyorkcity#nyc#marathon#queensborobridge#welcometomanhattan#nyrr
