To when I was nervous to tell people about my side job. .
To when I was worried that people wouldn’t think I was serious.
To when I feared they would tell me I’ve joined a pyramid scheme and laugh. .
To when I prayed my sincerity with what the programs did and the community provided for me would be so very clear to the people I invite and connect with. .
That was really hard. But the good stuff always is friends ❤️. I’ve helped myself and my family tremendously in 3 years. I’ve watched my income grow and aim for financial goals I could never achieve in the classroom. I’ve built relationships with people who dream bigger than I ever thought possible and they’ve made me dream bigger too. .
So Throwback to the time I was brave and said “I’m going for it.” You’re my favorite ✌🏻❤️. To you, my friend still reading this and feeling unsure of what you’re doing or are about to do. Ask yourself this: do you love it? Do you wake up excited about it? Is it hard to stop thinking about it? THEN KEEP WORKING FOR IT. .
I have your back ❤️ xo Gina

We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness–and call it love–true love.
We had such a fun day adventuring to Dana Point and Doheny Beach for the day! We packed a lot in a did everything from fishing to surfing, roller blading, exploring at the Ocean Institute and I of course relaxed in the bus!
I caught Blake in this pose and I couldn’t resist the shot ☺️💕
Cause sneak peeks should always be this cute! How adorable is that headband & bracelet? Mama even had her dress custom made, which I’m slightly obsessed with!!!!

I have hope that one of our kids will surf. It seems that Myla is the most interested at the moment but things can change and it’s anyone’s game then. I try not to push them but definitely encourage them to try new things and to step out of their comfort zone. We live in an area that has an awesome friendly surf wave and is great for learning. We’ve helped many people learn to surf this wave and I have no doubt that at least one of our kiddos will do the same. One step at a time. ❤️
Trying to protect yourself from your fears, protects you from experiencing a fully evolved and juicy life. Lean in. 💛

“Travel is rebellion in its purest form. We follow out heart. We free ourselves of labels. We lose control willingly. We trade a role for reality. We love the unfamiliar. We trust strangers. We own only what we can carry. We search for better questions, not answers. We truly graduate. We, sometimes, choose never to come back” – Anonymous
Kiddos asked for a nature outing today. They got one! Observed the fish and crayfish, waded in the rain, examined shells and fallen trees on Drake’s Creek. Except for that rock I had to sit on for 2 hours, it was a perfect afternoon. #homeschool#natureschool#wildandfree#thisiswhywehomeschool

I got together with a couple of my girls today & all their corresponding children. One of us girls couldn’t make it, so we talked on the phone instead, keeping track of each other. Keeping up.
The kids played outside, ran around without supervision, shot off bottle rockets (“Up & not at each other, please!”). We cut peppers & cracked eggs into a giant bowl. We ate & told stories. They talked me down off a ledge of self-reproach.
It was a good day, & the baby fell asleep 4 seconds down the road home.
We only had to go back for one set of forgotten flip-flops.
I am still learning about this gathering together, about community. A long time ago, I told myself I didn’t need people. I truly believed that at a core level for way too long. But fortunately I am not left to my own devices, & God has been healing that lie with some of the most loyal, generous people who keep showing up for me in all the different spaces of my life. It’s unreal & I feel so loved by God.
So, grab hold of your people. Hold them close & carve out the minutes to call or text or have coffee. Bring the kids, if that’s easier. But know that you will be better if you don’t let yourself get isolated. & I know how easy isolating can be.
Plus, togetherness increases the chance that you’ll make it. ☺️ #whocomesupwiththesesigns#wecandohardthings #itsthekeepingtrackthatmatters
I don’t even know where to begin. My life has changed in such drastic ways since this first picture.
I was one of those people who would go to the gym MAYBE a few times a month. I constantly gave up on myself. I didn’t have any real belief that I could change and often questioned what was I even doing there. Something deep down kept telling me this can’t be it!
GUYS! All of my results I got and I’m talking about ALL of it, came from working out at home and mastering my nutrition. I had different programs to choose from and an easy meal plan that took the guess work out of it. The crazy thing is that it was cheaper than my freakin $20/mo Planet fitness membership.
I’ve gained more than just a healthy mindset. I have a better relationship with my body and know how to fuel it. I have new friendships in an awesome community. Built around women working just as hard on themselves.
I have 3 spots left for my group that kicks off Monday. Now is the perfect time to start more than ever. It just takes making the first step! Girl I got you!

And the fear of your future
Ruin the happiness of your present.” ~Unknown
Lovelies, YOU steer the wheel.
You are strong.
You are able.
Your limits only exist in your mind.
I have spent the last month stalking our place on all the charter schools’ wait list and calling to see if maybe just maybe an out of district transfer was accepted.
As the local kids returned to school over the last week, the reality that our year of homeschooling was actually happening settled in and the nerves are felt all around. (Cue the all the “I knew it’s”, eye rolls, what about socialization 🙄)
This choice is a privilege and not available to all families and also not the right call for many families, but given the options on the table I am ready for the positives and bracing myself for all the challenges. And just like all things in parenting - there is rarely a perfect option - we just weigh all the priorities, make a call and adjust as we go. As we focused these past few days on finding a rhythm, building community and learning how my kids respond to me as a “teacher” I realize we rarely will have a perfect day, but we will always have perfect moments.
Our house isn’t this empty anymore cause I’m a maniac when it comes to unpacking, but I just have to share our “story” and “progress” in order... so hang tight haha!!! Maybe it’s my slight “OCD” lol... I like to call it “OCO” it’s an “order” not a “disorder” 😂🤪🙌🏻💖 anyone else? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On another note.. these two have gotten closer than ever! Maybe it’s all the extra space they have to roam and play together! Malachi taught Bella how to play Hide-and-Seek!! It’s seriously adorable!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I rarely share my kids on this page, but if you’re interested in getting more of a “behind the scenes” of my pregnancy, homeschooling, mom life, kids, recipes, etc. just follow my personal page (ladies only sorry and I only add people with a legit profile and photo for my own personal reasons! Would love to have you though! 🤪🙌🏻💖) 👉👉 @cleverfoxmama ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #childhoodmemories#oursweethome#wildandfree#followourjourney#fullhearts#lessismore#itsthelittlethingsinlife#siblingsgoals
🌴💦Late Night Dippin💦🌴Y’all, can I just mention that it is HOT🔥AF🔥 here in Texas. We seriously can’t even go outside until sundown unless you want to be drenched in sweat from head to toe. It’s 8:15pm and 92 degrees outside, but the sun is setting so it’s not burning our faces off. This might just be the most perfect time to swim. ✨ #partyatmyhouse#nightswim

expectation -> reality
i wish i could blame this on the kiddos. but no, i dropped it...
There is just something easy about living outside of the city. I won’t say I don’t miss it at all. Before my thing about NOT wanting to leave the city is there always being something to do.. well, that can happen anywhere. I must say, there isn’t much I love more than watching my girl run wild and free out in the country just like I did when I was her age. I’m so glad she gets to experience this simple way of life. 🌻✨ #letthembelittle#motherhood#wildandfree
For those of you asking about the photo we put up the other day of the dolphin and the pelican - they are frequently seen together in Monkey Mia, Western Australia. Here they are seen having a minor altercation 😂

I think he wanted to show me all his best angles 🥰🐴
I couldn’t resist posting another shot of this Icelandic horse - spotting him in the dusky light at 1am is probably my favourite photography moment so far 📷💫
