Waking up at 5am for a sunrise is always a bit of a gamble, you just never know what nature has in store for you. But boy was this one worth it. Walking out onto the bluffs, seeing the lake cover by a blanket of fog, silently asleep was something I'll never forget. The sun tried it's best to break the clouds but the rain was too persistent. 5 mins after this shot it began pouring rain but it didn't matter, my heart was full.
How was your weekend? What did you get up to? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
I went running like crazy over the weekend to make up for the week I missed.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now I'm paying for it, as I can't even walk the down stairs without wincing in pain😂😅🙈⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀
Being healthy, is a hazard to my health. At least the way I'm doing it 🙈🤣

At times I feel like I’m fighting nature instead of embracing it. Earlier in the summer, I got caught up in some perfectionism & fighting for expectations I had made up in my head. I found myself pushing against natural movement & disconnected from the flow around me.
Nothing is going to be perfect or exactly what you expected. For me being able to adjust to what is in front of me turns on my creativity & doesn’t kill it at all! Why do we fight so hard when instead we could take a fresh breath & just dive in towards it?
To get to this mountain hut we followed a beautiful trail along the mountain and even passed through caves! 🇨🇭
This area has been home to cave people, bears and hermits! This mountain hut has been standing as it’s seen now since 1884, which makes it the oldest mountain guesthouse in Switzerland!
Langzaam kom ik weer met voeten thuis op de grond.
3 weken met de campervan trekken door Noorwegen.
Elk moment was weer een moment om te verwonderen. Hoe mooi Noorwegen is. Ook hoe veel toerisme er op dit moment is, maar gelukkig mocht ik die plekken heel snel voorbij gaan. Want het maakt eigenlijk niet uit waar je bent, elke km heeft zijn eigen charme.
This week we finally met with a new doctor that officially diagnosed him with Autism and Anxiety disorder. We’re also waiting for an appointment with a psychiatrist to diagnose his ADHD and ODD.
I also found out that no ABA therapy center is willing to take his insurance which is what he absolutely needs.
I did, however, possibly find something for him to do that he’ll love. There is a fencing club here that we’re meeting with this Sunday to see about pairing him for fencing lessons.
He’s extremely excited. He wants to be able to fight with his lightsabers, which I told him isn’t quite what we’re doing, but it’s the first step to learning to fight with lightsabers and he’s ok with that.
Now hopefully I can set the money aside to do it because I’m going to hear about it every day of my life from now on.
Isn’t it a great castle 🤤
Auf der Tour durch Italien, bei 30 Crad und schwitzenden Gemüt, geht es jetzt bald ab in die Berge. Die Vorfreude steigt immer mehr desto kühler die Temperaturen werden 🤓
If you want to get featured in my sunday story, use my hashtag and I will pick 3 of my favourite post from the last week. #toms_week
Fairytale Art Nouveau Château Valmy. Built in the years between 1888 and 1900, designed by Danish architect Viggo Dorph-Petersen for the Bardou family of Perpignan, who developed JOB cigarette papers. Argeles sur Mer. La France. #payscatalan#magnifiqueFrance
Here’s my plan: turn into a snail and carry my home around me whenever I go so I never ever have to move again 🐌 Can you tell, we’ve just moved haha? 😅 Actually the move went really well and was quite easy in the end, but I still get stressed out and overwhelmed by this huge sudden change, even when it’s a really good one! Do you enjoy changes? Or are you more of a routine and stability type? What’s the last big life change you did?

What’s the story in Tobermory
It was only recently we found out that Balamory - the fictional island town in Scotland seen in the popular kids TV show - was actually filmed in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull!
It’s not hard to make the connection when you visit though, with the iconic row of coloured houses down by the harbour side. Although the houses are owned by different people (one is a really great little bar if you are there), it’s impossible not to be bowled over by all of the area’s many charms.

I’m posting macro over @fotografiska today so I’m posting dandelions here too to connect it all
A highlight of our Amalfi Coast trip was spending an evening in Ravello — home to iconic cliff side gardens as well as stunning architecture, art + culture and plenty of 🐱’s to pet along the way. So wish we had a few extra days to spend there! I highly recommend you make this spot part of your Amalfi itinirary ✨

At the end of the 9 days of sacrifice holiday, I attended a circumcision wedding of a relative's grandson, and then I did not want to miss such a view while watching the sunset. I watched the sunset in a very beautiful and peaceful way.
