I was a little girl with dreams who became a woman with vision 🌟My mission in life is to help and guide people create their life by design and live to their fullest potential. 10 years ago a started a online business called Arbonne, in the social marketing industry, that gave me the opportunity to build a business and become the entrepreneure I always wanted to be. For me, building this business strong was always about helping others, having freedom of choice, having flexibility, being financially indépendant, not having a boss, building financial freedom, peace of mind and being passionate about what I do. Because when you love what you do, you don’t feel like you work another day in your life and your energy is contagious. Yes the Mercedes Benz cash bonus is awesome I agree😉, but for me being able to spend the summer with my kids, for my husband to be able to have 12 weeks off every years from his job, being able travel the world 🌎 in beautiful destinations, living without stress, making my own agenda, planning my own vacation time, and being in charge of my life were the key 🔑 elements why I choose to build this business strong. Even if they were dream stealers, naysayers and people judging my me, I kept my focus on my dreams and I hustle to make them happen. After 10 years and all this amazing success, teaching and guiding thousand of people to create their best life with Arbonne, I am even more excited now for what’s coming and the people I will mentor and coach in the next few weeks and months to live their best life! You want a change in your life? You want to create a better life for yourself and your family? Let’s chat, 😍
Strong enough to face every fear, rise to every challenge, to pick my kids up when their hearts have been broken, to make every day an adventure, to learn from every failure
Strong enough to do want I am able to do today when I am 💯
Having ME in my early 20’s led me to become a Personal Trainer, going through an early menopause at 38 led me to create The Purposeful Life ...... empowering and inspiring women to embrace change and live a healthy, happy, loving and purpose filled life.
Loving my RWA conference hoodie. I've been wearing it all week as an extra layer. It's been like a hug while I've been recovering from the flu and it's a fun way to have some of writer me at my day job.

Given the digital nature of the work that I do, I'm lucky enough to travel from time to time with my "office" coming along with me. The biggest challenge that I have to overcome, so that my work (and the tourist-y activities which are definitely on the agenda) isn't affected is jet lag. I've come up with a pretty solid strategy that seems to be pretty effective for myself and could work for you too...
1) After the flight, I get it, you're tired... But find things to do until a suitable time to go to bed. Check in to where you're staying and use the opportunity to explore the area (go for dinner if you arrive at night or plan to do some sightseeing if you land during the course of the day). Try fight the urge to sleep until you absolutely have to.
2) This is where it gets tough! Set your alarm to wake you up at latest 8am the next morning. Go for a nice long walk. You'll never know what hidden gems you'll find (the banks of Lake Macquarie was the perfect spot to take this pic on my "day 1 walk")! You may find that your body gets tired a lot quicker, take it slow and persevere. The exercise will help.
3) Plan to do something that is not too strenuous for the remainder of the day. Avoid naps as this will just set you back.
4) Again, only go to bed when you absolutely have to. I try aim to be in bed at 10pm.
5) Make sure the alarm is set for 8am again and you should be waking up feeling your normal self and ready to get back to your normal work routine (or just start enjoying your break).
How do you overcome jet lag? Let me know in the comments section below 👇🏻

Got the kiddo to full time daycare. That was tough!
Doing the precarious balancing act between work + life.
What am I going to post about now?
I started this page to document my tech learning journey. And it’s going to be just the same - more so towards my current career path

Are you team fall 🍂or team summer?☀️ My friend @monicamonfre said in her stories a couple weeks back that the end of summer break can bring on feelings of guilt that we didn’t fully relax or do all the things we wanted to. Not enough days at the beach, books read, or enough mornings sleeping in, etc.
For some reason I feel like those things are reserved only for vacation and if that’s over I’ve missed the boat. Enter guilt and irritation (more like borderline resentment) about going back to work.
But I’m going to challenge us to hold onto some of those glorious vacation vibes this fall. To make them priorities just like anything else. *Read a few pages of a non-work related text before bed or on Sunday morning
*Get your coffee then go back into bed with it *If feasible, take a little trip to sit by the water, just pack a sweatshirt 😊
*Eat a summery meal a couple times a week (thinking burgers, fresh fruit, caprese salad, anything!) Here’s to the newness of another fall while still creating space for the joys of summer 🍂 ☀️ #cobbleandbrick#teachersofinstagram#teacherstyle#newyear#summervibes#fall#backtoschool#worklifebalance#findjoy#beyou#slowdown#vacation#school

I'm genuinely curious, if you're comfortable sharing, what stressed you out the most? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me it used to be work. Then it was family (my parents got divorced a few years back). Now it's parenting, because as soon as you learn one thing a whole new thing is thrown your way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What about you?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I ask, because at Stress Less Ladies we're building the resources that YOU need, want and ask for. VERY soon we're launching Stress Less at Work, a toolkit to help you navigate the stressors at work. Then comes Stress Less in 90 Days, and down the road who knows what suite of programs we'll build to help you manage your stress. I can tell you this, we'll create what you tell us you need. We'll partner with the right people to make it happen.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I know how much stress can impact you emotionally, physically and beyond. I want to help you through that. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So... what stresses you out the most? And what specifically about it stresses you out? AND if you're not comfortable sharing below, I'd love a DM where we can have a safe, private convo. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whatever it is you're going through, I know this - you're enough just as you are and you will get through it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
BE YOU CONSISTENTLY ≫ 🦸 Are you free to be yourself *and* reliable for your clients / customers at the same time?
It can seem like a paradox that your business requires you to show up consistently, but your being also must fluctuate with the energies of the Moon & other life phases to feel aligned & flow with your true nature!
The solution to being able to do both is automation.
The "robot" version of you can show up consistently day & night, waxing & waning Moon, good days or bad days... *always* as your best self. 🌟
The new paradigm of work / life balance is maintaining an automation system that acts on your behalf so you don't have to be available 24/7. So you can show up for yourself in other ways, as time's cycles guides you.

Sorry I’ve been so quiet over here! Our family is busy with some big changes and I’ve been busy taking care of my people and slowing down for a while to enjoy the last bit of summer with them. While I was labeling water bottles for Kate and Walter I took some time to make this cute decal for myself. Life really is good! I’m thankful for all this chaos and craziness. #momboss#endofsummer#worklifebalance#notreallypossible#slowingdown#lifeisgood
“I know the easy option is waiting until you’re “ready” but it’s going to get to that point when you realize that “someday” is today and there is no right time. Ignore the fear of failure, and jump when you need to. It’s better to fail, than to not try at all...”
When I started my side business almost two years ago, I did not know just how impactful it would be for not only myself, but for those people I’ve connected with; especially my customers. At the start of all this I was given the tools and training to be successful, but I was still super afraid to fail... or scared to look like a total robot sales person. Really didn’t have the confidence... However, fast forward two years and I’ve never been more pleased with the decision I made to do something totally for myself, on my own time and my own terms. Not only have I gained financial benefits, I’ve gained back that confidence I was missing...
Pairing up with a company that backs their partners, gives them the motivation to keep going, and incentive to be your best, is something ANYONE could benefit from. All it takes is that twinge of a belief in yourself that you could actually DO THIS!
We’re given chances and opportunities each day to do something great & possibly life-changing. It’s up to you to take that “jump” cause there will NEVER be a “right” time. Only right now. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

We entered healthcare because we want that quality patient care. We romanticize healthcare until we get to the real world.
Unfortunately, much of the real world chooses productivity over quality.
An alarming study I came across earlier this year pointed to the fact that we the settings with the highest productivity standards also observe the highest on ethical practices, including fraudulent documentation.
Productivity solely based on quantity of billable units in a day is not advised based on the study. But if you work in healthcare, you don’t need this study to prove this because you feel it.
Higher productivity = more patients in the same amount of time in a day = higher time demands = documentation demands = lowered quality of care.
Practitioners are just trying to get by in a day without drowning, much less have room to focus on the highest quality care.
Does your practice have harsh productivity standards? I’m curious to learn about different organizations and how they approach this with their employees.
“Forget being annoyed if he drinks straight from the juice box. That’s small chops. You two need to treat this like ‘Hubs & Wifey Incorporated’. You better prepare your joint company to be in business many many decades into the future.”
That was the advice we got from one of our business+life mentor couples. As the four of us were eating dinner, they dropped nuggets of wisdom about how they’ve leveraged each other in terms of contacts, opportunities, and a number of other business activities that made them “one plus one equals one hundred”. Exponentially better together.
Many of us have heard the term “treat your marriage like a business”. I’ve seen statistics on how married couples attain comparatively higher levels of wealth and financial stability simply by being together. But how does that whole thing actually work?
Swipe 👉 for an article on how dual career couples need to plan their vision, mission, and goals much like any business that plans to remain a going concern.
While this particular article is focused on couples with two working adults, I find that the same conversations need to be had by couples where one is the financial bread winner and the other is the keeper of the home. One of the best sayings from such a couple was “I may go out the door to formally work in the office, but everybody at work and at home knows that she’s the Chief of Staff. She makes things run and I make sure everybody knows her contributions.”
To the married people, be sure to have these conversations. To the single people, be very discerning of your potential spouse’s character (if you ever choose to get married).
Warren Buffet has rightly said during many speeches and interviews: “You want to associate with people who are the kind of person you’d like to be. You’ll move in that direction. And the most important person by far in that respect is your spouse. I can’t overemphasize how important that is.”
“The trouble is, you think you have time”

“The trouble is, you think you have time”...
Are you on the left or right side of this graphic? 🤔
Being on the left is the only way to win, at the beginning.
It’s important that you note that - “at the beginning.”
Once you’re comfortable, you can ease up, relax, have more fun, free up your schedule for more free time.
But if you’re trying to make it?
You’re not going to win if you’re doing all the shit on the right side.
You need to go full tunnel vision and put forth maximum effort to work on what it is that’s going to make you successful.
Work life balance is great, but if you’re doing the right thing, you’re going to also love putting in all this time to accomplish your goals. If not, you’re probably doing it for the wrong reasons, or don’t love what you’re doing.
You can balance your work and life once you’ve built a cushion 😅
Stfu and grind!
I can’t just leave you with the bad stuff. Here are steps I’ve taken to address my anxiety:
First, I got in weekly Counseling. I had past wounds I needed to properly process along with learning to cope and manage my anxiety while I was working through things.
I started taking CBD oil every day (more info in comments). I opted out of anxiety meds--which is totally a personal decision. It probably would’ve made my process quicker, but it just wasn’t the route I chose to go.
I pulled out of weekly extra curricular responsibilities.
I hired an office manager/assistant who took over all things admin.
I stopped feeling guilty for saying no, and started saying no...a lot. I took social situations a day at a time, and decided last minute if I had the capacity to go.
I planted a garden and flowers so I could visibly see small victories.
I went to meditation classes and started incorporating yoga and meditation into my mornings.
I started trying to vocalize emotions as much as I could.
Later into the healing process, I started working with a hormone coach and overhauled my diet to help repair the damage anxiety had done to my body.
No matter what you do, just do something. Start addressing it, but have patience with yourself. It’s a long and often not-won battle, but you CAN learn to manage it in a healthy way. 🌸 #CokerConvos#mentalhealthawareness
