I AM ALWAYS AWKWARD when meeting new people or making new friends. My go to solution is humor, corny jokes, I have lots of it. It comes out naturally which is scary coz it's not always funny although in my head, it is. If all else fail, ALCOHOL! If I end up saying or doing something stupid, easy to blame the alcohol, even though I'm fully aware of my stupidity.
Kat, Shelby, Taryn, Bree and Max were the first group of beautiful humans beings I've interacted with, inside the bus, on our way to Copenhagen from Berlin. The first victims of my corny jokes. They were very polite by laughing at my jokes. Good start Quinn, good start.
Louisa warned us that alcohol is expensive once we cross the boarder so our last chance is to buy it from Duty Free onboard the ferry. So we did. Kat, Taryn, Shelby, Max and I... Took the longest time ever to decide what to buy. I ended up buying a bottle of Schnapps and Mintu Pear. I've never tasted these before but what the hell.
My first roommates in Copenhagen,,, another awkward moment for me. Janelle entered the room with a very enthusiastic "Hi Roomies", and I entered the room so awkward... "Ummmm,,, may I offer you shots?" Schnapps bottle on my left hand and Mintu on my right. Well, it worked out just fine. In the room were Katrina and Meg.
Did I say alcohol is expensive? It was but wise Louisa said, better to end the trip fat and broke but happy, #noregrets . So there I went, alcohol always magically appear in my hand.

The Fish River Canyon. It Is located in the south of Namibia & is the largest canyon in Africa, as well as the second most visited tourist attraction in Namibia. It features a gigantic ravine, in total about 100 miles long, up to 27 km wide and in places almost 550 meters deep.
Have you noticed ?
I have been missing for a little while. Both on the stories and posting too.
That was intentional and I have a little story to tell you about.
If you think of me as someone standing easily behind the camera you are SO wrong. I had to learn, really. And since a decade I started a complicated relationship with photographs, which is the following:
So when I travel, and I am in new places for a short period of time (such as 2 weeks) I don’t really have time to put something in between my eyes and the view. I love slow time and the slowly discovering, and I will never relate with a so called “traveler” who is changing county every week.
Two weeks are nothing to soak in a new landscape, and especially to let your presence to be accepted by that new environment, if you know what I mean.
So how can you express your self about a place (shooting) if you don’t get your-self the time to get into it? Is this discovering really so superficial? What are you thinking about when shooting? The future memories or the present? And most of all: what will you remember in the end? The panoramas you shoot or the ones you actually saw?
Here is why I am so into Tuscany. Because this is rooting, it’s home. My discovering happens everyday and I am in the full process of expressing it. I don’t need to understand. I am. ...
Don’t you think so?

So excited to head back to Belize 🇧🇿 next week! I will be staying @turnefferesort which is located on a private island off the coast of Belize 🏝Cant wait to snorkel, try out fly fishing and generally relax. Who else is in need of a beach vacation? 🙋🏻♀️ #turneffe
