⚠️ WARNING!!!!! GRAPHIC VIDEO!!⚠️ This was our 10 month old rottie when my 9 year old son tried to love on him! The way he just rips into him is unbelievable and too much to watch. Prayers over my poor son!
Now, if you watched the video, you’ll see a big ol love bug lick all over him while playing. Lots of people put too many stigmas and stereotypes on these beautiful creatures. It’s all in how you raise them. Our dogs are spoiled beyond belief and everyone loves on them when they’re around and they will literally, just like in the video, lick you to death. My pregnant wife can’t go to the other room without both boys following her and making sure she gets around alright. They NEVER leave her side. My three year old falls them, tugs on them, plays with their tail, and not ONCE has either of them ever bared a tooth at him. If they want him to stop, they just roll over on him (they weigh 60 and 80 pounds) lol. Point being, stop putting the bad labels on these good boys. Show them love and compassion, and they’ll be loyal to you for their entire lives. #rottweiler#rottiesofinstagram#bigbaby#lovebug#kisses
I like to show you the result after we have taught Monster how to follow the body of the person holding the leash.
We need to transfer the training to his owners and whoever they may ask to walk Monster in the future.
If Monster cannot walk by someone else but me, it is not going to work.
The training system we use is not based on a particular person. We don’t want him to only listen because he is afraid of that person. We don’t want to train Monster to only listen when the handler has great coordination with impeccable timing.
We have kept things very simple for Monster.
We have taught him to yield to the direction of the leash once he feels the slightest tension on his neck. We have taught him to follow the body movement of the person holding the leash.
Because he truly understands what he is supposed to do, the person holding the leash does not need to keep yanking the leash, dispensing treats or firing all sorts of commands — she just needs to keep walking and Monster will simply follow, which is how it should be.
Waiting for Leica’s doc. Got this lump on his chest that needs to be checked and tested out. Will need to get those nails cut too. Hes acting like a brat so he had to wear this muzzle 😔 Not really liking it at first but he calmed down after I sat closer to him. He weighs 135 lbs now. This big boy will need to start working out soon. #germanrottweiler#rottweiler#annualcheckup
Our Mama had a scare this week — we’re so grateful she’s on the mend and we’re sending all the love to keep her heart strong as she continues to be a bad ass senior pup. We love you Sky!! 🏋️♀️ #teamtbm
