Our beautiful boy Snowy ❄️💙
Born in May 2017
Snowy came to PAWS with my siblings Krystal and Elsa. I spent the first part of my life in a foster home, but that was only ever a temporary solution. When we got bigger we came to PAWS. I will hold my paw up and admit that we didn’t give the people here an easy time when we first got here. We had grown used to being the three of us and the foster family. Outsiders were not welcome! Oh, how we growled and barked at them when they tried to approach us. Well, do you know what they did? They only went and separated us to try and get us used to being apart. I am happy to report that they soon realised that there was a better chance of getting to know us and us settling down if we were together… and they were right!
For me, that behaviour didn’t last too long. It was kind of boring not letting people come near me. So, I changed. I was still a bit scared but decided that if I was nice to people they would cuddle me.
People now say that I am an affectionate dog who would make a good addition to your family. I already know some basic commands (in English) and I walk nicely on the lead.
PS: if you look at my photos you can see how I have changed over time; I look so much happier in the more recent photos!
