McLeod Ganj is a small suburb of Dharamshala, which is the start and end point of our trips this autumn.
Sometimes known as "Little Lhasa", this place is famous today for 3 things: His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama, the large Tibetan community who settled here over the last decades, following theird spiritual leader and...momos!
The last is a delicious dish, often served as street food, usually made of steamed dumplings filled with vegetables. As you can see, it's something that nobody can resist, not even the Buddhist monks who live in the nearby monasteries.
While visiting McLeod this October, besides enjoying the great cuisine all around, we'll find out more about the Tibetan culture and also attend a very special event: a public teaching held by the Dalai Lama!
