Yesterday we arrived in Singapore in the afternoon and checked in in our little hotel in China Town. We went through the streets and found this cute little corner. Until 6 PM it’s a normal street, afterwards they close it and prepare everything for the street food evenings. Everywhere are tables and food stalls.
On our way to the lightshow at the bay we saw so many people exercising in the parks. Singapore is really fascinating but also exhausting. So many new impressions for us! The city reminds us of clean Sydney together with Asian Bangkok - a pretty good mix though.
Have you ever been to Singapore?
They say she’s a free spirit, a girl so in love with the world that she can’t seem to stay in one place. She runs through the fields, and dances in the rain. She can climb the tallest dunes and make friends with the camels. She‘ll bring you to the edge of the earth, ready to jump into the unknown. A free spirit, wild and audacious, and so in love with every day she is able to explore the world.
Be careful that I don’t infect you with this crazy wanderlust!
Did you enjoy your Saturday?

I wonder if the ocean smells different on the other side of the world.
It’s time - Monday we will leave Europe for 2,5 month. We will fly to Singapore first, explore Malaysia, then Indonesia and last but not least Myanmar. That’s at least the plan :).
I can’t wait do dive, to surf, to explore the jungle...Only thinking about that makes my heart beating like crazzzy.
What are your plans for the next 3 month? Any vacations planned or do you enjoy some time at home?

Can you relate to any of these points? 😅 We definitely can 😜
Today we absolutely felt like jumping in the ocean, tasting salt on our tongue and surfing in the sunset. Well we don’t have any of this in Aachen, Germany😅. Fortunately we will leave Germany in a few days to explore Indonesia, Komodo and Myanmar for 2,5 month.
If you follow us from the beginning you might know, that it is our third time in Bali. Bali was the place were it all started, our first journey overseas. It will always be a magical place for us!The first time, I (Jana) had an scooter accident and we had to fly back home. But we came back only a few month later and totally fell in love with Indonesia 💪.
But there is so much more to see in Indonesia than only Bali. We are very excited to travel slow and to have enough time exploring everything. We will be in Myanmar for the lantern light festival above the Pagodas in October - so excited for that!!!
Thank you so much for your lovely support!! We are so happy for all of you! We wish we could meet you all in person!
How do you felt today? Like jumping in the ocean? Exploring a new city? Or just relaxing?
Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you. You give life to what you give energy to.
Well, this shot wasn’t easy to get. We knew that this place around Koutoubia Mosque is famous for a lot of pigeons at sunrise and sunset.
⤖ 1. First of all we missed sunrise the other day and we had to go for sunset, meaning there were a lot more people around and we had to wait very long for a deserted time slot😂.
⤖ 2. We bought some grains at the stalls to feed the pigeons, but the pigeons were very very shy.
⤖ 3. There were a few kids who also loved to scare away the pigeons😅. We threw the grains on the floor, waited and waited, finally pigeons came and the kids scared them away. Haha...
⤖ 4. But finally we got it. Our tripod took the photo in intervall/ self time mode and we crept up behind the pigeons. But beware of pigeon poop 😅🤭😂.
Have you ever tried a picture with an animal? Which animal was it?❤️❤️

Happiness isn’t out there, it’s in you!
You can travel the world, see the most beautiful places on earth, you can experience a lot of adventures with wonderful humans and you still can feel dissatisfied and not enough. Well, I thing happiness and more important satisfaction is something we have to learn. It’s a skill we have to practice the same way as everything else, again and again!
Also we have to stop comparing ourselves with everyone else around us. We are unique and our personality is fantastic!! You are wonderful the way you are!! You are enough and important!
What did you do today?? How was your day?❤️❤️
Anzeige|ad I love this quote so much: “When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life."― John Lennon
That’s so true isn’t it? First question is always „What is your job?” or “What are you doing for a living?“. But isn’t the most important question: “Are you happy?” Well, I think it´s the most interesting question to talk about with other people❤️.
What made you happy today? A good workout/ a new hobby/ a healthy meal/ a lovely conversation with a good friend?
lots of love Jana and Malte x
